So, this is for @blueswapuniverse ! I decided to participate cause its fun and its been a while since i drew something past a sketch

This is my gemsona, Rhodochrosite! A chemical engineer gem that evaluates planets resourses and the gems that can be made from them. Her duties include planning the location of kindergartens, pointing the processes to get the expected gems and how long it will take. Her input its taken into consideration when looking at planets to conquer. Shes a relatively rare gem to see, because her purpose its so specific. However thanks to the technological new age in Homeworld, some rhodochrosites dedicate themselves to tech making and now there are a little more of them.

This Rhodochrosite was made for Pink Diamond, but she sprouted little before The Thing happened and never got to meet her. She was taken in by Blue Diamond, like it happened with many more that belonged to or were going to be Pinks. Rhodochrosite had the opportunity to meet her new diamond, but due to her grief striken state there was not much to talk about in the planet conquering department. At the moment Rhodochrosite assists stablished kindergartens of Blue and plans ahead for promising planets, hoping to bring more gems to life from them once her diamond feels better. She views her duty as what she has to do and finds it interesting enough! But her view of what its done its very inorganic, shes never seen a planet full of life and untouched or gave organic lifeforms a second thought. That would be a world changer!

Contrasting with her job, Rhodochrosite is a compassionate, kind gem and she avoids conflict like the plague. Her gem type isnt made for combat so she doesnt know if she even has a weapon. Shes very absent minded when shes not actively working and she gets really nervous when she talks to other gems. Social interaction its not her forte and for that she dreads it, the worst for her are the times in which she has to present her plans to her superiors. She loves colourful things and impromptu musical numbers. Will laze around if given the chance, which happens often due her low quantity of work in these times. She is loyal to Blue Diamond and she feels guilty when she thinks about her late diamond, because she doesnt have any particulate feelings about her, and so many including her diamond do.
