How much were we seeing a real persons life story??? She could hear her heart pounding in her chest while trying to remain a calm composure, but something in her eyes must have given away how scared she was. 

He ignored her request to stay back and invaded her space; she could almost feel his hot breath fanning her skin. 

He started to take a stride closer when a firm hand on his shoulder stopped him and pushed him towards the brick wall. 

She wasn’t sure what Michael whispered under his breath - or more like chanted; Latin phrases quietly said in the darkness -  she could only guess it was a spell.

The man nodded in a trance with glassy eyes and retreated quickly. 

“Michael..” she said softly. Her voice quivered as the fear was still in her body.

Without saying a word, he wrapped her in his arms and shushed her, “It’s okay. I will never let anything happen to you. I got you.” he mummbled into her hair

I had a dream last night that I was running from my birth mother and I went into this store and was hiding from her. But, I ended up getting distracted and looking at their selection of boy’s clothes , particularly the underwear, and I saw binders hanging up, and I bought a diverse assortment of what all I saw and I was super happy. Then I woke up and unfortunately had to go to school.
