I actually thought about this while looking through your blog. It was just an “Oh, RWBY and SU! Cool!” Then I started thinking about it, and so this happened. I thought maybe you would like the idea? I have seen where people draw Team RWBY as SU, but I haven’t been able to see any the other way around. I just really like the idea of SU characters being hunters.

  Garnet

Attire- Signature sunglasses (dons a pink sash embroidered with a star as of The Exchange)

Background- Fused before attending the academy (she’s so mysterious)

Abilities- Future vision, can withstand serious damage (akin to Yang’s abilities), lightning (she gets some good stuff)

Weapon- Gauntlets equipped with explosives (explained in Of Healing and New Beginnings)

  Pearl

Attire- Long coat (dons a long, pink scarf embroidered with a star as of The Exchange). Mostly earthy colors (explained in In Plain Sight).

Background- From common family (no hunters)

Abilities- Regeneration and duplication (workers are expected to be durable and complete numerous tasks)

Weapon- Spear that can be broken down into two swords (explained in Of Healing and New Beginnings)

  Amethyst

Attire- Post regeneration outfit with leather jacket (possibly a fallen Vidalia’s?) (dons a pink, cloth armband embroidered with a star as of The Exchange)

Background- Comes into group after others graduate academy but long before The Exchange). War decimated town, only survivor

Abilities- Shapeshifting

Weapon- Whip infused with various dust crystals

  Rose

Attire- Typical dress with pink cape (likes being dramatic). Refuses to wear shoes, no matter how many times Pearl begs

Background- Entire family are hunters for Homeworld.

Abilities- Speed (I couldn’t resist using Ruby’s semblance. I mean she leaves roses in her wake.) Speed allows quicker healing but not to the extent of Pearl’s ability. Has a defensive aura (I.e. shield)

Weapon- Rose’s sword that can be infused with dust if necessary (a flaming rose)

  Steven

Attire- Usual outfit

Background- Under the tutelage of the Crystal Gems and is still learning how to be a hunter, so he can follow in his mother’s footsteps

Abilities- Speed and aura like his mother’s (they see roses every time he activates his semblance), has a calming way with grimm monsters

Weapon- Picks out his mother’s sword at his father’s weapons shop.

  Fusion- When two auras become harmonious, the individuals can meld to create one; however, fusions began disappearing when the group started school.

  Homeworld- corporation that hires hunters. After graduating Academy, it is expected to go there. Basically owns all means of protecting civilization and owns the enforcers. Looks down upon fusions and commoners

  Grimm- (akin to gem monsters) The very individuals who fight grimm but become tainted and corrupt themselves in the process. Chaotic beings

  Team Purge (Pearl, Rose, Garnet)- Specializes in complete extermination during missions under Rose’s leadership. Gains a new member after graduation and becomes the Crystal Gems (explained in Hunting the Hunters). Live in a house built from the side of a cave to avoid Homeworld forces

(I know the leader is supposed to be first in the acronym, but it was the only name I was partial to)

  Planned fics

Of Healing and New Beginnings- In which Pearl is theatrical, and Garnet isn’t quite sure what she’s gotten herself into. (written, not posted)

In Plain Sight- Garnet offers advice to her teammates. (Outlined only)

Unnamed fic- Team Purge decides to defect. (Outlined only)

Hunting the Hunters- Homeworld begins its pursuit, and Rose realizes she doesn’t want her team to be known for devastation. (Outlined only)

The Exchange- Bonds weaken and a member is lost. (Written, not posted)

  These are only ones I’ve started creating. However, I do plan to incorporate other show topics (like Steven meeting Connie or learning about other hunters like Lapis.)

He’d heard from a few of the workers about some new genetic hybrid that’d gotten loose; something about it being ‘smart’ and capable of outsmarting the people that ran the island. Whatever had happened, the dinosaur had wrecked havoc and ended up getting itself killed.

“Serves it right,” the large dragon muttered.

The island was now full of other dinosaurs running rampant. Park employees had abandoned the area and simply left everything and all the reptiles to fend for themselves -- including Bear.

Though he wasn’t a dinosaur, he’d been sold to the park’s owner to be set on display as an attraction, though that only worked for a short while. Then the new hybrid escaped, everything was let loose, and that meant Bear had his space. In order to protect himself, he remained in his reptile form, fully confident that he could take on whatever dinosaur tried to attack him.

The dragon meandered through the lifeless village of the park, glowing eyes peering into the shop windows to see what was left behind. Since his wings were cut and he couldn’t fly away from the damned island, he figured he might as well poke around and see what he could find. There was bound to be something interesting.

Thranduil blinked hard and dipped his head for a moment, before standing tall once more. "Your...current boyfriend is a very lucky man," he replied, the muscles in his jaw flexing visibly under his skin. "Perhaps I could change your mind, though. I'm not too worried, darling."
