On another note I am thinking about re-doing my Z-tech series from the beginning with smoother better righting and art etc. I’m not decided yet but I’m 80% sure that Ima do it!

Zim has some sirous abandonment issues this didn't make him soft nor dose it make him a sweet little shmoopty alas it just means he's volatile and fucked up and cry's and smashed shit in his office after hours, it's one of the reasons he's so controlling with dib. On the outher side of this he works his little ass off to prove that he's good enough he dose the most for his busnuis his brand and his image (he even dose the most for his dib rat but he would never tell you so and is absoulotly loathed to admit it)

Hi my apologies if your a fan of prof membrane but he was a really REALLY bad gross person in this universe particularly to his son and daughter gaze treated dib poorly but only to gain favor with her father and it seldom works witch she wrongfully takes out on dib. Bouth gaz and dib struggle with addiction as adults but gaz recovered and is employed as chief of security at membrane labs living with he's misterios Fiance in a nice apartment uptown a few years previous to the events of z-tech. Dib on the he outher hand is a nightmare mess he's mostly forgiven gaz or would like to tell himself that. I think that nightmare membrane is mostly how dib remembers his dad (his memory is badly warped by a lot of drugs AND A LOOOOOT of trauma) he was treated worse than gaz it wasn't by a large margin but it was noticable he's afraid to be within a mile and a half radius of membrane labs and has to many self esteem issues for even the strongest among us to get through. Spite is keeping him alive.

In the beginning of his relationship with Zim he struggles a lot with being himself communication and being honest. He still struggles to understand he dosnt need those things (among outhers to survive) but he dose genuinely love Zim even if there relationship looks a bit weird and he has a hard time stoping walking in eggshells.
