In the second chapter of Not A Romantic Bone in Your Body, it is revealed that Sam, in my BQ4 verse, is allowed to address Bucky as “Bucket,” but this is a secret from Steve.

Natasha has correctly deduced that Sam is referring either to Bucky’s mouth or his ass, she doesn’t know which and she does not want to know and she hates them for doing this.

Sam and Bucky are only appalled because, by the rules of their secret joke, Steve basically told Sam to go on and fuck Bucky and shut up about it.

Steve has no idea why telling Sam to fix the hole in the bucket is dirty and he is very confused.
