Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - 2025 replay
I get why they gave me Dark Side points for this, but in my defense, Czerka had it coming.
(Unfortunately, "I know it was Dark Side, but they deserved it" is probably what got Revan into trouble in the first place, but we can worry about that later.)
Based on that one meme...
my daughter stole ur wallet. yeah sorry. it will happen again
Dream team 2.0 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic [Dream Team] [Cal Kestis]
recently played both knights of the old republic games
Between characters of the old republic and the prequels and or clone wars are there any parallels or similarities between characters that you think isn’t often acknowledged or noticed, this can include legends.
How do you think the clone wars group would interact if put up against the foes of the old republic era, not simply in combat but verbally mind you I do imagine are cw gang will have plot armour so they at least make it out alive.
What would the KotOR think of the second chosen one compared to their own, what do they like or dislike what are there options on what becomes of him.
Ooooo these are all really good questions!
Well there’s obviously the parallels between Anakin and Revan. But I think there’s also some very interesting parallels between Meetra Surik and Ahsoka that I haven’t seen anyone mention.
Meetra was a young follower of Revan who didn’t really Fall to the dark side. Instead of continuing to follow him off the deep end after the Mandalorian wars, she returned to Coruscant to submit to the council’s judgment. She was exiled from Republic space as punishment for her crimes. While she was in exile the entire Jedi Order was wiped out apart from a few stragglers. She was then hunted down by dark side assassins and bounty hunters as she slowly gathered allies and accidentally rebuilt the Jedi Order. So. Yeah. There’s definitely some similarities there.
And oh the CW gang would NOT do well against real Sith like Malek, Sion, or Nihilus! All their experience with Sith is from Dooku and Maul, neither of whom are very powerful Sith. Honestly any Jedi who are used to Banite Sith would be pretty shocked by the Sith of the Old Republic era. Like, they think Palpatine is bad!? Good lord he’s an AMATEUR compared to Vitiate! Don’t get me wrong, I love Bane, he’s definitely up there in powerful Sith rankings, but his lineage? He had no idea how difficult it would be for them to hang on to any information or ideologies. I’m sorry man but your Rule of Two was stupid as hell. Vader is the most Sithy Sith to come out of that lineage. No one else even compares in terms of fear factor or pure raw power.
That was not the question. Apologies. Ahem. Clone Wars gang up against Old Republic era Sith? Physically it would probably go okayish for them as long as Anakin was there and it was against like. Malek or Sion. But mentally they’d be freaking the fuck out. Actually that just applies to Sion, Malek wasn’t actually all that impressive for his time but he would be pretty terrifying to the CW gang, but at like, the same level as Maul after he returned. Sion on the other hand. Wooo that guy is a walking nightmare! Literally fucking flakes of person held together by the dark side to form a pseudo-functional human being.
If they fought Vitiate they would definitely be dead. Or brainwashed into Children of the Emperor. Idk if Anakin would end up a Child of the Emperor or get the Revan treatment and wind up in a pod, his strength siphoned into Vitiate. Probably the latter.
The really interesting interactions, I think, would come from the CW gang meeting the Jedi Council or pre-romance Bastila. Because not even Obi-wan would be able to stand them. Like. It would either be hilarious or fucking heartbreaking. God those guys were assholes. And Bastila. Omg Bastila. Actually I think she would react to Anakin very similarly to how she reacted to Revan without all the animosity and distrust from knowing his past. As in. She’d get a crush and be in major denial. She’d act all haughty and superior. But Anakin would kinda despise her. If they met pre-romance. Post-romance Bastila and Anakin would be besties though. They’re actually more similar emotionally than Anakin and Revan are.
Honestly I think Anakin and Ahsoka would really get along with the Ebon Hawk’s crew (circa KotOR not so muck KotOR II). They would both love Mission especially, I think. Idk how well Anakin and Revan would actually get along since Revan’s personality is so. Variable. None of the CW gang would like Canderous (not even the Clones) but Anakin would probably tolerate him, and maybe get along once he got to know him. But Obi-wan and Ahsoka would hate Canderous. Sorry to anyone who loves that Obi-wan Mandalorian friendship but it’s not canon. He was on Satine’s side. His experience with traditional Mandalorians is all them trying to kill him and Satine. But Obi-wan and Ahsoka would likely find a friend in Juhani where Anakin wouldn’t. Despite some obvious similarities between Anakin and Juhani I don’t think they would know how to really talk to one another. If they tried to bond over their similar pasts they’d probably end up making each other worse and they don’t have much in common besides their traumatic pasts and issues with emotional regulation.
As for Carth. He’d probably be professional around them but his usual standoffish and snappy self. They’d probably put him on edge actually, just because he isn’t so great with the Force Bullshit and they are the definition of that in this scenario. Zaalbar would probably just kinda go with it.
But Jolee would love it! He’d be yapping Anakin’s ear off worse than he did with Revan (I’m kidding, I love Jolee, best Jedi adjacent character ever! The OG Grey Jedi). I think Anakin would benefit A LOT from meeting Jolee, Ahsoka too. Because he shows how there can be a path for Jedi outside the Order. And he explains important destinies in the Force better than anyone in the universe! He and Obi-wan would probably have some ideological disagreements but again, that would probably be good for Obi-wan.
Anakin and Ahsoka would adore T3, R2 would despise him and it would probably be mutual.
And last but not least. I saved the best for last. HK-47! You can’t tell but that’s in all caps in spirit!
I love HK. He’s the best. Anakin would love him. Everyone else would be very put off by him. Similar to his relationship with Revan and his friends. HK is like. The smartest person in the Star Wars universe though. Like. He sees things so clearly. He’s hilariously wise in his own way. There are a few different fics where he winds up Anakin’s droid and they’re amazing. Honestly I could talk about that droid forever. Instead I will say everyone should go watch this video on YouTube to understand my love of HK.
Okay this is a mess and I probably didn’t answer all your questions but I’ve said my piece for now. May come back and add to it later. Would definitely be up for continuing this discussion!
how the ebon hawk crew would react if you asked them if theyve smoked weed before
revan: "fuck yeah, you want some?" (pulls out a comically large bag of weed)
bastila, crossing her arms indignantly: "no, i do not seek out such things that would negatively affect my constitution. only a fool would deal in such substances"
carth: "i tried it once but its not really my thing"
mission: "no, i went through the dare program"
zaalbar: "no, i am afraid i would see the haunted phantoms of my past coming back to torture my spirit"
juhani: "i admit that i have partaken a few too many times. i fear that it contains dark side energies, energies that would bring me back to a past to which i am afraid to return"
canderous: "do you take me for a fool? the only high i seek out is the thrill of battle"
jolee: "yeah, i dont see any harm in it. revan and i have had some deep conversations after smoking a bit. oh, and there was this one time i smoked with my wife, and it ended u-"
hk-47: "condescending answer: do i look like a human to you? i do not have human lungs, and, thus, cannot process the compound tetrahydrocannabinol."
exile: "yeah. i mean, you gotta find some way to cope, right?" *pops an edible*
atton: "you know, i used to be a stoner back when i was a teenager, but a couple weeks ago i greened out and i think i heard god and now im scared to touch it again"
kreia: "such a substance can bring about much good or much evil. the true fools are the ones who use it in excess, or forbid its use through cheap fear tactics. so long as one does not adhere to these foolish, strict principles, i see no issue in partaking, and i have experienced no such issues in my private affairs with the substance"
bao dur: *takes a hit of his thc pen* "its for my anxiety, okay?"
disciple: *looks at you incredulously* "N-NO!"
i dont know the rest of the crew in kotor 2 well enough to complete the headcanons but once i do, i will update this. maybe
