tbh nb people get shit on for asking for the popular neutral pronouns. i dont see why making up a bunch would hurt anybody. like its not like we’re going to be taken seriously anyway, might as well be comfortable with the new pronouns

i feel you. as far as i can tell also, most nb people are using the new pronouns online and online only. tbh i see no harm in it (in fact i like them a lot) and im tired or cis and binary trans folks telling nb folks what they can/cant do.

exactly, cis and binary trans folks SHOULD have NO say in nb peoples genders or how they present themselves, and thats the reason i'm for them. I too think some of them are really nice, and if someone sees a pronoun that makes them go "there it is, thats me, thats how i identify, this defines me as a person" then by all means let them use that pronoun. NO ONE gets to define who you are.

what worries me most though are the people who are using them just because they're cute and not because they identify with them. because thats the REAL reason these pronouns can be trivializing. and thats the base of the reason people are upset.

the only reason i have stayed away from that term (ive heard of it) is bcos im not really liking the -philia aspect to it? and likw idk its a romantic attraction as well as sexual so im not sure
