Rewatching Burrow’s end to feel something again because med school exams are turning me into a zombie. And I saw this bit that made me grin because a memory deep in the back of my mind triggered. It’s as they say all GMs learn from one another.

I'm like super locked in on a specific group of performers that live in LA mostly and for the longest time I've been considering mapping out the group interactions between them.
for instance: Whitney Moore just joined the Critical Role cast but I first encountered her as a host of SourceFed nerd and SourceFed Nerd was actually my introduction to DND Actual Play. Maude Garrett was the DM for their campaign and said that if the viewer wanted something more serious they should look up Critical Role and I did.
Here's another: before I knew who Aabria Iyengar was, I watched Kollok 1991 season 1 where she played Laura Bennett. I only realised recently that that's where I had first encountered her. I'm not completely sure where the next time I encountered Aabria was but it was likely Pirates of Leviathan. Anyways, there's an obvious connection with Kollok and Critical Role with Zac Eubank who produced Critical Role when it was still under Geek and Sundry.
Then you have something like Angela Giarratana from Smosh and AOAOAOA (shows I watch religiously) who is real life friends with Izzy Roland who is married to Brennan Lee Mulligan and also was in The Seven with Aabria Iyengar.
Then there are the weird unexpected ones in that I really enjoy wrestling and there was that season of D20 featuring two of my favourite wrestlers (Chelsea Green and Bayley). And I really love Drag Race and there was the season of D20 featuring a cast of some of my favourite drag queens one of which is Monet X Change. And Monet X Change has a Dropout show featuring Kevin Macdonald who is literally the only fitness YouTuber I watch.
There's a web of connection here and I really really want to find the time to build the graph just to see what it looks like.
Possible new installment of Kollok?
For those not on Hyper’s discord, here’s what Zac said:
I might recommend spreading the news and maybe stating if you would be able to support so that they have an idea of who would be interested! (Will post on twitter as well)
Every serious and horror esc TTRPG has the most unserious gms.
Looking at Zac, Aabria and Brennan as an example.

recreated one of my favourite kollok pieces that i drew ages ago - stumbled across it a couple days ago and just had to redraw the boys :))
I loved this little moment! <3
lucas really said "daddy" with full confidence, and no shame whatsover, managed to make the whole party laugh (which isn't a lot, because they laugh a lot, but like its worth mentioning) and also convince his brother, the gm and normally someone who doesn't let himself be fooled by him, to let him do this move...
and i think that's amazing. good for him.
