℣; — To say Vanitas' day was normal, that in itself would be an under exaggeration. For what happened that day, no one, not even the raven could predict. No, it wasn't having a shit day at work, or being too tired that he couldn't make love to his fiance, oh no, it was something completely out of the blue. For what he found on his doorstep that afternoon, when he returned from work was none other than a 15 month child.
As the raven pulled up his bike, flicking the stand with his foot and leaving it to lean just so, he stubbed out his cigarette and instantly went back to his phone, texting his fiance about how his day had been. Axel was away for the week, so the raven was going to be home alone, or so he thought.
Climbing the stairs, feeling particularly energetic, he absent mindedly walked to his door, phone still in hand, smiling from a text Axel just sent, completely oblivious to the world. As he fished for the keys in his pocket, the raven was rudely interrupted by a sudden tug at his jeans. "Hey do you-" He glanced from his phone to see a small girl stood there. Waiting?
"Beat it kid, this isn't your home, go find someone else to bother" The child stood in front of him, pouting and crossing her arms across her chest, a firm shake of her head confirmed she wasn't leaving. "Ugh.." Vanitas rolled his eyes and picked up the girl from underneath her arms to move her out the way. Vanitas stood there and stared for a few moments. What the hell was he supposed to do with a child? As the thought became the most clear in his mind, he heard someone walk up the stairs. Good, hopefully it was someone he could lumber the girl on.
