One of my favorite conversations is when Zack realized Cloud has the same ambitions he once did, and imminently steers him away from SOLDIER. In a way, Zack’s ambition was his downfall... If he’d been less ambitious, do you think he would have seen SOLDIER and Shin-Ra for what it really was?
