how will the applications work?

We will be getting everyone to fill out a Google Form with your social medias and an idea of what you'd like to create for the zine!

Instead of having people submit samples of their artwork like with most zines, since this is a smaller fandom and the mods of the project know a lot of the people who are planning to apply, if we need to see examples of anyone's work we'll check some of the pieces they've uploaded to their account.

If you have any more specific questions that weren't answered here, feel free to send another ask!

will there be certain criteria that we will have to meet, specifically with art? because I want to make something for the zine but I'm bad at everything right now and doubt I can improve fast enough

Each applicant will be judged on a case by case basis, and not judged against each other. As long as it's shown you put effort into your art, you will most likely be accepted.

That said, the way we will be judging is based on what applicants have posted to social media, not specific pieces submitted, so please do make sure you have at least an example of one finished piece uploaded to at least one social media.
