For Jessica to fall in love it happens quite slow, at first she just want someone to make her company so she tires to play with her friends those old horror stories her friend have taught her long ago, and since anyone have exactly be able to survive after the game Jessica just keep them somewhere apart, so for her to fall in love you have to be diferent
It can be either that you managed to survive or that Jessica took a great interest on you, for what she decided to ask her friends to go easy on you, to give you a kinder role to play, at the end it doesn't matter the reason because it will have the same result, at the end she will ask you to stay with her
After all that have happened you had pretty much no option, you have to stay simply because you cant leave even if you try, and as time pass and Jessica has the oportunity to spend more time with you she just falls more and more in love with you, its not because you stayed but because she truly have fallen in love with you, wich means a whole new exciting experience for her
Jessica is incredibly clingy, now that you finally accepted to stay with her (even if it was forcefuly) she wants to spend all the time with you and learning about you, she spend quite some time sharing with you all those horror stories that she loves so much and want to know your opinion on them, slowly she start to want to know more and more about you, even if she may don't understand half of the things you say she still tries her best to grap all that information in her mind
Jessica knows too well how of a horrible place the Green Lake can be, it is beautiful but is monotone, after a while you probably would just get bored and will want to leave, so, to prevent that, Jessica tries her best to make everyday a beautiful day, always saying good morning and good night, taking you for walks, making shows with her friends just for you, feeding you with only the best she can find, she is overworking herself to think on new things to do so you won't want to leave, and that is just stressing the hell out of her
Now that you are here to make her company, to bright her day there is no way she can let you go away, Jessica grows clingy, desperate and even dependent of her darling and yet she tries her best to don't show you how desperate she truly is, she doesn't want you to think bad of her, to scare you away, so she just tries her best at making the place always beautiful and exciting for you, she will do whatever she can and has to do to make sure you don't leave her
She is so focused on taking the weight of your comfort and happiness on her shoulders that the moment you hug her she just kinda panics, not knowing what this hug means, she tries to ask you what this means just hoping is not a farewell, but the moment you say that you forgive her for what she have done, for keeping you here, a place even she hates, to force you to live this monotone life with her and even for the bad first encounter you two had she just can't help but break down in tears, she cries her heart out, taking out her stress and worries, clinging onto you as if her life depends on it before start expression how much she loves you, how scare is that you will grow tired of her and this place and will just leave her alone again, how scare she is of the idea of one day waking up and you not being there
Even despite that incredibly comforting hug Jessica need a lot of reasurance, she just want to make sure you aren't tired of her and you aren't planning on leaving her, and even if you assure her it will take some time to believe it and just let herself relax, but is thanks to your words that she can finally slowly start to relax, to think about how being at Green Lake isn't that bad if you are at her side
Zagato
The fact that Zagato has fallen in love is a tricky situation, he wants to fulfill his job as the high priest of Cephiro just because the care he holds for the princess Emeraude, so falling in love will definetly get in his way to make his job, even so he will without a doubt leave that in order to be there for his darling
Zagato hold quite some anger and hate for Cephiro and how the world works, for him is just too cruel that the world depends on a pilar, and the moment he gets to know you his focus is completely on you, he wants to protect you from the true cruelty of this world
Zagato is quite devoted to his darling, he takes time get to know you and even to make you be comfortable around him, he will not dare to take away your freedom from you but he doesn't trust in the world, he is the kind of person who will be willing to take down the world if that means asure your happiness and safety. Zagato is devoted but also is far from being intentionally manipulative, the only thing he truly wants is your happines, but in the search of that happiness he doesn't care if he has to use others and even his position as the high priest to make a safe world for you
Zagato firmly believes that he knows what it is best for you and is willing to achive his own vision of your happines, however he is aware enough to know when you are upset and even can recognize when he is the reason of why you feel that way, but at he just promise that all what he is doing is for a greater good, for a brighter future for you, even if he tears apart himself in the process he will happily give his life for you as long as it assure your happines
Zagato's feeling are intense and stronge, and once he is convinced that he is doing the good for you there is no way back, not even you will be able to convince him to stop. He will destroy the world and rebuild one better if he has to, and, as much as he hates seeing you upset or even scare for what he does he won't stop; he never loses contact with you, he keeps you close as he puts in action his plan, makings sure to always have time to see you and reasure you, to remind you the inmense love he has for you without even expecting for you to say it back (specially if you have show to be scare or sad of what he has being doing), he is devoted to you in a way that he will give his life for you, so the moment you grap your arms around him, embracing him in a gentle loving hug, saying how its fine, you have forgave him for what he has being doing, for even becoming a villain at the eyes of the world (or almost doing it), Zagato is in shock
He doesn't expect nor will force you to reciprocate his feelings, but now that you do, and not only that but also recognize the efforts he have being doing for you he passes from the shock to completely melting under your touch in a second, without hesitantion corresponding the hug and even hugging you tighter, saying nothing unless you want him to say something, too lost in the warm of the hug and your words that have bless him, for him is as if you were giving not only permision but also the aproval for him to keep going, but this time he will grow more clingy, more affectionate and even will wish for more, this time he will actually listen if you say that he doesn't need to do any of this, if you keep showering with this affection he may as well just give up and devote his life to you in a more intimate way, just the two of you
