I'm quite pleased with this 2-click foundation based garden pavilion! The garden is considered to be ready now. I might change some details in the future, but I really like current layout. The arbour has moved out of the corner of the lot, making room for the garden shed so that now it is a complete gardening corner with all the gardening things. There’s also sort of a rubbish tip behind the shed which makes perfect sense because stuff can be carried out of the lot straight along the fence right behind the greenhouse. Very handy! It is also a perfect place to gather empty Elixir of Life glass thingies as I tend to collect them. There’s a lot of seating places around the garden to enjoy some fresh air in. Including a small rooftop spot right on the top of the bay window where the owner of the house likes to spend their time feeling bad (not really) about failing at quitting some bad habits. It’s hundred percent decorative of course.
The crooked old oak has now a crutch as I was trying to put a bird house up there and I realised that if I’d use an Y shaped column, it would look really nice. And it does! What’s also funny about this lot is that since lot boundaries are visually limited by hood deco fences, the real lot boundaries go beyond the garden into the neighbouring one. Hence that hot tub and a chair up there. First I wanted to put an invisible fence right behind the hood deco one to prevent sims from going through, but now I really like the idea of sims sneaking into another’s property just to enjoy some nice relaxing dip. I might as well develop this neighbouring yard a little bit more in the future.
