Appellation: Morgon Domaine: du Petit Pérou @hugothevenet_ Cuvée: Vieilles Vignes Année / Year: 2017 Cépage / Grape: 100% Gamay 🍇 🍇 Our first Beaujolais takes us to Morgon. A wine from old vines that has a lot of power. On the nose the wine is marked by notes of red and black fruits like blackcurrant, spices and even slight earthy notes. In the mouth it has a lot of power for a gamay, the tannins are silky with notes of cherry. It is a wine to decant at least 1 hour and which is even better the next day. This shows that the gamay can have a significant aging potential on this appellation. A very interesting power. It is really a wine to discover to understand this grape variety and this region. It is the first time in my life that I have opened a 3-year-old Beaujolais and I tell myself that it would have been necessary to wait a year or two, all is said. 🍇 🍇 Notre premier Beaujolais nous conduit sur Morgon. Un vin issu de vieilles vignes qui a beaucoup de puissance. Au nez le vin est marqué par des notes de fruits rouges et noirs comme le cassis, des épices et même des légères notes terreuses. En bouche il a beaucoup de puissance pour un gamay, les tanins sont soyeux sur des notes de cerise. C'est un vin à carafer au moins 1h00 et qui est encore meilleur le lendemain. Ce qui montre que le gamay peut avoir un potentiel de garde important sur cette appellation. Une puissance très intéressante. C'est vraiment un vin à découvrir pour appréhender ce cépage et cette région. I take this post to thank the people who came to taste this wine live live with @wineandbubblelover and myself. I was honored to be able to taste a great Languedoc wine from @gerardbertrandwines with an enlightened wine lover. A very interesting wine for 3 reasons: It is biodynamic. It is made up of 7 grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Caladoc) It is a 2018 vintage which is already ready to drink. He decanted 1 hour in a carafe which offers maximum exchange. To say that it's good is always very subjective, we all have a different palate. However, to say that it is a great wine is a reality. We really enjoyed seeing it live in the glass throughout the tasting. And it is also a point that I wanted to share with you, prepare your tastings, take out a nice glass, decant your wine, sit back and let your senses do the rest. 🍇 🍇 Je profite de ce post pour remercier les personnes qui sont venus déguster ce vin en direct live avec @wineandbubblelover et moi-même. J'étais honorée de pouvoir déguster un grand vin du Languedoc de chez @gerardbertrandwines avec une amatrice éclairée de vin. Un vin très intéressant pour 3 raisons: Il est biodynamique. Il est composé de 7 cépages (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache, Carignan et Caladoc) C'est un millésime 2018 qui est déjà prêt à boire. Il a décanté 1h dans une carafe qui offre un maximum d'échange. Dire que c'est bon c'est toujours très subjectif, on a tous un palais différent. Par contre dire que c'est un grand vin c'est une réalité. On a pris un réel plaisir à le voir vivre dans le verre tout au long de la dégustation. Appellation: Jumilla Domaine: Casa Rojo @bodegascasarojo Cuvée: Enemigo Mio Année / Year: 2017 Cépage / Grape: 100% Grenache 🍇 🍇 This is another wine from Casa Rojo. A 100% Grenache, I rarely drink it, and it surprised me. A nose of red fruits with smoky notes and game notes. In the mouth there is freshness and concentrated and spicy aromas. The tannins are under control. It is a friend and weekend wine to forget the news. 🍇 🍇 Voilà un autre vin de chez Casa Rojo. Un 100% grenache, j'en bois rarement, et celui-ci m'a surpris. Un nez de fruits rouges avec des notes fumées et des notes de gibier. En bouche il y a de la fraicheur et des aromes concentrés et épicés. Les tanins sont maîtrisés. Appellation: Vin de Table Domaine: Corporation Georgian Wine @vin_danni Cuvée: - Année / Year: 2018 Cépage / Grape: 100% Saperavi 🍇 🍇 My first two experiences with Saperavi had not gone very well. And there what a surprise, I was delighted. On the nose the wine is fruity, juicy red fruit. In the mouth the tannins are light, the wine is on the red fruit we find the cherry. It is a pleasure and unpretentious wine. And I say it in the noble sense of the term, the wine that you can open at any time without fear. For the French go to see the account @vin_danni it's a Georgian couple who lives in France and who distributes these good wines. 🍇 🍇 Mes deux premières expériences avec le Saperavi ne s'était pas très bien passée. Et là quelle surprise, j'ai été ravi. Au nez le vin est fruité, des fruits rouges juteux. En bouche les tanins sont légers, le vin est sur le fruit rouge on retrouve la cerise. C'est un vin plaisir et sans prétention. Et je le dis au sens noble du terme, le vin que vous pouvez ouvrir à tout moment sans crainte. It's November 15th, the date I chose to start the holiday season. As every year champagne will be in the spotlight. I present the champagne house Devaux with this rosé champagne composed of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Some of the pinot noir is vinified in red wine, another part in bleeding rosé and most of it in the traditional way. This gives a champagne with a beautiful color and a certain power in complexity. This real success will be very good with food. During the holidays, do not hesitate to associate the very good with the very beautiful, look my sword Claude Dozorme @claudedozorme and my glasses Zalto @zaltify 🍾 🍾 Nous sommes le 15 novembre, c'est la date que j'ai choisi pour débuter la saison des fêtes. Comme chaque année le champagne sera à l'honneur. Je vous présente la maison de champagne Devaux avec ce champagne rosé composé à 80 % de pinot noir et 20 % de Chardonnay. Une partie du pinot noir est vinifié en vin rouge, une autre partie en rosé de saignée et la plus grande partie de manière traditionnelle. Cela donne un champagne avec une couleur magnifique et une certaine puissance en complexité. Une vraie réussite et qui se tiendra très bien à table et en apéritif dînatoire.
