A 100% Grenache, I rarely drink it, and it surprised me. A nose of red fruits with smoky notes and game notes. In the mouth there is freshness and concentrated and spicy aromas. The tannins are under control. It is a friend and weekend wine to forget the news. 🍇 🍇 Voilà un autre vin de chez Casa Rojo. Un 100% grenache, j'en bois rarement, et celui-ci m'a surpris. Un nez de fruits rouges avec des notes fumées et des notes de gibier. En bouche il y a de la fraicheur et des aromes concentrés et épicés. Les tanins sont maîtrisés. Appellation: D.O Valdeorras Domaine: Case Rojo @bodegascasarojo Cuvée: The Orange Republic Année / Year: 2016 Cépage / Grape: 100% Godello 🍇 🍇 When you taste a white grape for the first time, you tell yourself that 4 years is already old, especially for an unoaked wine. Then you open this bottle, you taste and you understand. On the nose the wine is light but pleasant with notes of stewed fruit and mineral complexity. On the palate the wine is wonderful, complex with notes of dried apricot and candied orange zest. And to say that this grape almost disappeared, it is a very elegant wine with a "Burgundy" patina which can go wonderfully on white meats. Yes i love tattoo too 🍇 🍇 Quand on goûte un cépage blanc pour la première fois, on se dit que 4 ans c'est déjà vieux surtout pour un vin sans élevage sous bois. Puis on ouvre cette bouteille, on goute et on comprend. Au nez le vin est léger mais agréable sur des notes de fruits compotés et de la complexité minérale. En bouche le vin est merveilleux, complexe sur des notes d'abricot sec et de zest d'orange confite.
