JURASSIC WORLD WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY

The chief was on the job. Today marked the beginning of his new career; officially that is, not counting the multitude of orientations and inductions he had to go through to finally be sitting at this desk. He had thought it would be a breeze, just like working in the Zoo back in Edinburgh.
Never before had he been more mistaken.
Li wasn’t just dealing with tours for small groups of visitors anymore. No, this was on a grander scale. Jurassic World was receiving millions of visitors per year since it had opened. Such a large intake of visitors meant every tour and guide needed to be running smoothly. Even though this was his first day on the job, Li was launched directly into the deep end and he was struggling to breathe.
“Shit...” He mumbled under his breath as he sifted through the various piles of documents that the board wanted him to fill out. He took a big gulp of coffee from the mug that was nestled lazily on another pile of paperwork. Carefully, he picked out the sheet he was looking for; a new specimen documentation. He had to contact genetics for information on the dinosaur in order to write up a tour description for it which in hindsight was a pain in the ass. Genetics didn’t have time for him or any of the other workers.
He forced himself out of his chair and stormed into the corridor; knocking on the door next to his. The office belonged to Zara, the new assistant to Claire Dearing. When the door was opened he hastily began speaking.
“H-Hey, sorry to bother you Zara but I’m stressed out of my mind. The board want’s me to write a guide for the new species - the Suchomimus - but I don’t have the contact details for the genetics lab. Can you lend a hand?”
