i just know matthew is the sweetest boyfriend ever. he will do anything to make you happy if he senses that you might be even the tiniest bit upset. he'll remember everything about you - your birthday, your favorite color, your favorite flower, the perfume/cologne you wear (and will buy you a new bottle if you so much as mention running low). if he's traveling or away from you for any reason, he'll text you every day and keep you updated (and if he's too busy, he'll be sure to at least text you good morning and good night, as well as let you know he loves and misses you!). expect daily selfies, random pictures of his food or any iconic landmarks, and voice notes!! he will absolutely buy you a souvenir, especially if he visits a place he knows you've always wanted to go. (if you tell him he didn't need to spend his money on you, he'll hit you with puppy dog eyes and a "but y/n! it reminded me of you so i had to!") this goes for matt buying you couples items too - hoodies, tshirts, phone cases, jewelry, etc.!! whenever you two are together, he will need to be touching you in some way - holding your hand, arm around your waist or shoulder (or if you're sitting down, his hand on your knee or your thigh). he enjoys having you close to him, especially because his job as an idol doesn't allow you to see each other much. he's very protective of you !!!!!!! he's such a gentleman too, doing "cliche" things such as giving you his jacket if you're cold, paying for your date night meals (even if you try to stop him), giving you flowers, opening doors for you, pulling out your chair, he compliments you every single day without fail, etc. you can also be certain that the zb1 members know everythinggg about you omg, he always talks about you - and they allow it, because they can tell how happy you make him.

starting off strong with this banger
i was SEATED from beginning to end
genuinely one of my favorite performances out of all of them just because of how powerful and visually clean this group was on stage
the beat had me hooked from the start
LOOK AT MY LIPS, LOOK AT MY HIPS, LOOK AT ME SLAYING THIS WHOLE WORLD
phanbin's facial expressions left me in shock
this man's stage presence is so strong
didn't really notice him before this but now he has all my attention
i also think that his rapping has improved a lot since the start
and don't get me started on na kamden
honestly one of the only reasons why this isn't my all time favorite stage is just because of how much they focused on the dance aspect
like with people like yujin and zihao on the team, i can see why that might have been a conscious decision
but making everything so dance focused when it was a dance AND rap stage made it seem like something was lacking
my man kamden still slayed tho
the deep voice, the slight rasp, the flow control

the deep voice had me GAGGED

he also ate up his little part of the dance break choreo
the way he was so proud when back koo-young praised his dance made my heart heal a little
on the other hand, the way mnet didn't post anything about wang zihao making the second part of the dance break!?!?!
like they gave him no screentime at all
but i also love how everyone was hyping him up in the comments and informing everyone that he choreographed some of the song
cause that man's krumping is not a joke
hes so talented and i hope more people listen to his solo works

i left yedam for last because he didn't really stand out to me in this performance :( even with the killing part
defo loved his raspy voice in the intro though i think i really tied everything together

i think he had the least impression just because of how strong his other teammates were
plus the cohesiveness of the whole performance made it hard to pick him out from the crowd
but as a whole it was a really amazing stage that felt super professional and it slowly became one of my favorites out of all boys planet performances.

before this performance he was one of my bias wreakers
now i have a feeling he's becoming my ult
he OWNED this stage hands down and I'm so glad that people agree with me
everyone's saying that this is the moment where his debut was secured and i honestly agree
i mean look into his sparkly passionate eyes and tell me that you don't absolutely adore him and think he's the most amazing, cute, talented, person ever
youngjoon saying he loved taerae's smile is my roman empire because SAME BESTIE, SAME
overall this performance didn't really speak to me when i first watched it because i've heard the original and that put my expectations SKY high (listen to infinite people)
but as i rewatched it and started really getting into it to it i got the hype
i feel like he really deserved more credit with how well he was supporting and the amount of emotion in his voice
his high note with taerae also made me feel something
mingyu being loud also made me laugh a little
i was also pleasantly surprised with his vocals considering how he sounded in that viral video of him practicing loudly
i think his improvement should be studied fr cause i think he added a sense of humor and amusement to the stage which i genuinely don't hate
woojin was the one who stood out the least to me which i predicted from the start
as sub vocalist 3 but main rapper i thought the rap would let him have his time to shine but personally mingyu stole the show
mnet also gave him like 3 whole seconds of exposure throughout the whole performance which may have been another reason why i felt he was the weakest of the 4
genuinely feel like that was a more broadcasting issue than a him issue though which makes me sad :(
overall a really sweet and cute stage that i would defo rewatch whenever i have the time

ya'll they're called aces for a reason because this performance ate the house DOWN
literally the second i saw hanbin, zhang hao, gunwook, and hui on the same team i knew it was over
also the way i didn't know hoe-taek was hui from pentagon was shameful (don't come for me pls)
i literally figured it out after i saw a tiktok saying that when he was singing tomboy he was singing his ex-girlfriends, ex-group's song(he dated soojin for the ppl that don't know)
the way i went into shock for a hot minute
anyways back to the performance
love love loved zhang hao's prechorus
i feel like it felt really rushed and emotional but in the best way possible
even with the sub vocalist 1 and sub rapper 1 positions (plus the fact that he didn't get the killing part) i think that he really got the most out of his lines and made the performance his own
the way they changed "why are you cranky boy" to "why are you cranky girl" kind of threw me off though
like let them embrace their inner twink mnet
censoring the chorus of the song also kind of disappointed me cause i felt that it made the song feel less powerful
but i already knew it was coming as bp is meant to be a "family friendly" broadcast (I'm say this in the most sarcastic way possible)
gunwooks rap tho...
the way it was stuck in my head for a solid week is probably really unhealthy but i don't care

they were creating such a powerful atmosphere while also serving killer vocals

the adlibs, the high note, the layering of vocals was all chefs kiss

in most of the personal rankings i've seen online this stage has come first
and honestly i get it
its such a refreshing change from all the other performances and it truly feels fun and enjoyable
like i love how every single person got to shine in their own way
the way park hyun been ate UP though
like when i first watched the performance i was so surprised because since when has he been this good at rapping!?!? maybe that's just me tho
him, haruto, and keita definitely carried the rapping for me

I love him sm he's actually such a cutie with his little hat
in fact unpopular opinion but i actually liked the stage aesthetics in general including the outfits
idk what it was but the neon green was hitting real hard (its the inner neo in me)
And the RAPPING oml i had to take a breather after he finished his rap because i was in SHOCK
one of the best self-made raps ive heard, and the flow is just so controled
i'm also in love with his rapping voice in general??? idk what it is but it makes me feel some type of way
defo one of the main stars for me, but i think you all saw that coming because look at him
ollie coming in with his little rap made me so happy cause he's genuinely such a cute
not as strong as the other rappers (and as sub rapper 3 i expected that) but he still made an impact in the performance which i love

it wasn't really a vocally powerful song and i feel like it had the same issue as law but instead of not enough emphasis on the rap it was the vocals
but they still tried their best and i think that they did stand out in some ways
now the OUTFITS i have to talk about
these stylists need a raise fr cause the way that the red suits fit the stage so well
but the way that they covered seo won and gyuvin's chest made me giggle a little
overall i would say that its defo not as polished as some of the other performances, but the overall concept and vibe suited all the trainees so much that the execution was bound to be amazing

i need to get this off my chest
cha woongki carried the feel special team on his back
they better have thanked all the gods above that gunwook kicked him out of his first pic otherwise that performance would have been so screwed
the way it felt like a whole solo song just for him because no one else wanted to sing :(
another thing i wanted to talk about was the limousine performance
the way i was shocked by how good it was
they trashed mnet, they ate, and then they left (literally)
i was gonna talk about it but i didn't have the time, so just know that it has a very special place in my heart
special mention number 3 goes to jongwoo
as a rapper being put in a VERY vocally difficult song like home, im so glad that he overcame the difficulties and placed 1st cause he deserves it
his facial expressions never fail to get me every time
i also think he's such an amazing leader and deserves credit for that
might be a little biased though cause he's one of my favorite boys planet trainees
