⤷ it'd start off with sleepy morning kisses, both of you still comfy in bed and barely awake. you'd be pressed close against his chest to salvage as much warmth as possible in the cold room, your lips moving lazily against his. one of his hands would tightly be gripping your waist as the kiss heats up, smoothly slipping his tongue into your mouth. you'd ride your hands up under his shirt, drawing patterns on his stomach, fingers dancing across his chest. your hands turn him on so much and he'd get hard from only that; you exploring his body. he'd roll onto his back, pulling you on top of him before latching his lips to your jaw, nipping at your sweet spots, and then he'll trail his kisses back up to your swollen lips. the way he rut up into your core drove you crazy, your hands finding solace on his shoulders to ground you. he'd let out in a breathy moan that he wants you so bad. and what hanbin wants, he gets.
「 kim jiwoong. 」
⤷ you had suddenly straddled him while he was working on his art at his desk, arms wrapped around his neck as you kissed him stupidly. he'd be a bit stunned at first, letting out a "woah, you okay, hun?" — but when you whispered into his ear how needy you were, a flip would switch in his head and he'd be all over you right away. his plush lips moved in sync with yours as you let him take the lead, his hands finding the tops of your thighs, squeezing and kneading the soft flesh. you couldn't help but moan into his mouth and the sound would only spur him on further. his hands would travel up your hips until they were pressed against your lower back where your shirt had ridden up slightly, drawing tiny circles on the exposed skin. he'd use his grip on you to help rock you in his lap, happily swallowing your moans with every brush of your hips against his.
「 seok matthew. 」
⤷ matthew had his lips on yours the moment he had walked through that door. maybe sending him pics of you in only your underwear while he was working hadn't been the best idea — because now he was going to eat you alive. he'd grab the nape your neck and tilt your head back in the process to expose your throat to him, lightly biting and kissing your skin — just enough to make you needy but not enough to bruise. your hands would be tightly clasped onto his jacket, unable to control your moans as he licked over a particularly hard bite before grabbing both of your cheeks in his hands and slamming his lips against yours again. he'd walk you back towards the couch, taking a seat before pulling you onto his thigh. you were already riled up by his lips, and the contact between your heat and the muscles of his thigh was enough to punch a moan out of you, dropping your head against his shoulder.
「 kim taerae. 」
⤷ it'd start out super innocent. probably just watching a show in his bed, or taking a nap together. you feel him shift closer to you before resting his head on your shoulder — and then you feel his gaze on you. you'd look down at him and give him a soft smile before turning back to the screen — but then he'd lift his head and his hand would come up to your chin, turning your face back towards him, capturing your lips before you could even think. this kiss was needier than they usually are between you two and you couldn't stop the butterflies that swarmed in your stomach as his hand moved to hold the back of your neck. he would help you lay down gently before moving on top of you in one swift movement, never once breaking the kiss. taerae rarely initiated intimacy like this and you knew that he had to have been really pent up to get to this point. you could feel his erection poking your thigh as he pressed himself against you, airy moans leaving his mouth as you reach up to tangle your hands in his hair and pull him even closer to you.
「 park gunwook. 」
⤷ you can immediately tell when gunwook is horny — he doesn't even try to hide it. he becomes so touchy and clingy and if you're not giving him attention, he'll follow you around the house like a dejected puppy. once you're finished with your tasks, you'll finally give him your attention, standing up on your tippy-toes to press a light and sweet kiss to his lips. he'd literally whine when you pull away, grip your hips before you could slip off, and pull you in again ten times harder. he'd turn into putty in your hands when you slip your hands under his shirt and run your fingernails lightly down his back. the kiss would be so desperate, quiet gasps leaving your lips as he slowly backs you up against the wall. one of his arms would come up to cage you in, your senses only filled with the scent of his cologne and his soft lips on yours. he'd break the kiss to whisper all the things he wanted to do to you right then and there, his warm breath fanning your sensitive ears, sending shivers down your spine.
❪ 融点 ❫ angst hanbin x f!reader 645 cw ノ attempted suicide (reader) not mentioned in a ton of detail but still please read with caution, bruises and needles (iv) mentioned, not proofread 〃 @lexeees for hanbin + save me, kill me for the 4k event ⸝⸝⸝ here i am writing angst for hanbin yet again big big sigh / 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐔𝐄
You're asleep, softly snoring with your head propped up against the hospital pillow. Hanbin knows how uncomfortable the hospital beds are, so it wonders him how you look so peaceful lying there. When he sees you like this, he can almost forget about everything going wrong. Almost.
Because he can still see the tear stains on your face, and if he lets his eyes wander a little lower he'll catch the IV hooked up to your arm and the bruises that litter your body, and reality comes crashing back to him like ocean waves. Hanbin sometimes feels hopeless when he looks at you, because no matter how much love he pours out, it's never enough to change the way you feel about yourself or the cruelty that others treat you with.
Some days he blames himself, and other times he wishes he could burn the world down for all its done wrong to you. You don't deserve any of it. He's always thinking about the what if's and maybe's. What if he had done a better job protecting you? Maybe if he had stuck to you like glue he could have prevented the events leading up to this? But it's all in the past. It's all already been done, and there's nothing he can do except grapple with the aftermath.
At least you're still alive. At least he didn't lose you.
The nurse comes into the room, silent as she glances at the sad scene. Hanbin barely notices her presence, his eyes still trained to your sleeping figure, tracing every scar and bruise for the hundredth time, tears brimming that he frantically blinks back. He can't look at you for a second longer. It's too painful.
He excuses himself from the room as the nurse takes over checking your vitals and refreshing your intravenous needle. There's a 24 hour convenience store near the hospital, and Hanbin finds his legs leading him there without thinking. It's 2AM, and the store is deserted except for the clerk who doesn't spare him a glance. He roams the shelves, unsure of what to purchase until he sees the little candy packet. Your favourite since middle school.
He grabs five packs of the hard candies, a can of coffee, pays, and then leaves. He's grateful for the silence outside the hospital, although it leaves a lurch in his stomach. There's an empty bench near the front doors, so he takes a seat while chugging some of the coffee. You were admitted nearly twelve hours ago and Hanbin hasn't slept a wink since. It all weighs on him too much for his body to accept rest. Not until he knows you're okay.
He only lingers outside for another five minutes before wandering back up to your room. Nothing has changed. There's still the repetitive tone of the heart monitor. The IV is still distributing meds to you. Your body is still littered with marks.
He shrinks back into the chair beside your bed. His hand finds your limp one again and his thumb brushes gently over the bruises on it as if he could erase the marks they've left on you.
He still remembers how dread had flooded his body when he first got the call that you had actually made an attempt. The worry never truly left him, only lessened once he saw for himself that you were still with him. Losing you is one of his biggest fears. He doesn't know how he would live without you in his life. Without your smile or your laugh; without the feeling of your warm skin or the taste of your sweet lips. Your days are marred and dampened with darkness, but you still manage to be the sun to Hanbin. You still shine brighter than he ever could. He only hopes that somehow, he's also a source of warmth for you.

prompts: 4. "what do you want?" "you" 5. "i want to help you, so please, let me." 11. "is that my sweater?"
notes: combined a hao prompt request (i changed the phrasing of 4 a little bit IMSORRY) with a campus crush! hao request and came up with this,,, honestly longer than i was expecting and somehow shorter than i wanted it to be ?? idk.. anyways geology major! hao you are dear to me (i want him so bad i'm clawing at the walls of my enclosure) hope you all enjoy <3
college was stressful. you knew it would be, it had to be expected. but what you didn’t expect was that the hardest part wasn’t the coursework or the seemingly constant stack of homework sprawled across your desk; it was actually paying attention in your classes.
how were you supposed to focus on mantle convection when three rows down was arguably the prettiest boy you had ever seen in your whole life. zhang hao.
you only had a few classes together, but coincidentally, due to your wandering eyes those happened to be the classes you were falling behind in. and he was to blame.
truth be told, it seemed everyone had some sort of campus crush on the boy; between the way he dressed and carried himself and the way he always managed to be at the top of every class, just about everyone either wanted to be him or be with him. and you couldn’t blame them in the slightest.
zhang hao was someone to admire from afar; across the lecture hall or the path between buildings. so when he ended up in a study group you had joined in an attempt to graduate with a respectable grade, you were dumbfounded, what was someone like him doing in a study group for a class he was passing with flying colours? maybe it was charity work, you convinced yourself.
the study group was only so effective for you, with zhang hao in the group you couldn’t focus, yet again. it was too hard to not notice the way he fidgeted with the pen in his hand or the way he doodled small animals in the corners of the paper. or the way he leaned over a fellow classmate as he helped them with a particularly complicated question in the textbook.
you were doomed.
——
after a few weeks of no progress, you were just about to give up. maybe i’ll just drop out and work at a department store or something. you told yourself as you crouched down outside the library you all studied in.
sure, you were being a little dramatic. but you were one question away from bursting into tears as you walked out of the study group an hour early. the embarrassment of leaving paled in comparison to crying in front of the boy who had been your reason to showing up to class some days.
“are you okay?” the question pulled you out of your pity party, looking up to see the tall male in front of you. he gave you a worried look at your curled up frame leaned against the brick. “i’m just feeling a little stupid,” you tried to laugh, a dry husk of humour pushing past your lips.
the boy didn’t respond right away, opting to crouch beside you as he sat down on the concrete right next to you. if you weren’t so stressed about your academics right now, you probably would’ve been a stuttering mess at the close proximity. maybe you would’ve even noticed the scent of his cologne. but all you could do in that moment was frantically wipe your eyes and attempt to not look as pathetic as you felt.
his eyes softened as he watched your hands rest on top of your knees, “you’re not stupid,” he said, a sweet tone in his voice, comforting even, “it’s a difficult class, everyone has been struggling.” his kind words tugged at your heart more than you’d care to admit.
“but everyone else seems to be getting it eventually.” you sniffled, concentrated on the tears threatening to spill again, “and i just keep slipping further and further behind.” you let out a heavy sigh, “i’m never gonna catch up at this rate.”
you almost forgot the boy was even sitting there, silently listening to your troubles. “shit sorry,” you let out a pitiful laugh, “i didn’t mean to drag you into being my therapist.”
he shook his head, a smile spreading across his face, “it’s okay, i’m glad you told me.” he turned his head towards you, “how about we make a deal?”
you only tilted your head in curiosity, urging him to continue his train of thought.
“you let me tutor you from now until exams. if you pass, then we both win, and if you don’t, then at least you tried your best.”
the offer was sweet, but you couldn’t help but wonder why zhang hao of all people would take time out of his days to tutor you.
“what’s in it for you?” you let a small smile break out across your face, the first in what felt like weeks.
“well,” he pretended to ponder for a moment, “maybe i just want to pass my knowledge onto someone.” you couldn’t help but laugh at the reason as he continued.
“and maybe, this can double as a way to make a new friend, if you’d want.”
sure. “friend” had no real implications of anything beyond a good acquaintance. but you almost choked at the disbelief. the university’s sweetheart, zhang hao wanted to be your friend? the boy you had spent the better part of the last two months trying to tear your eyes off of while your professor droned on about chemical reactions and the composition of rocks.
“are you sure? i don’t wanna take up too much of your time and-“ he cut you off before you could finish. “i wouldn’t offer it if i wasn’t sure,” he smiled gently, “i want to help you, so please, let me.”
you pondered the offer for a moment again. maybe it was the prospect of spending more time with him, or maybe it was just the idea of finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel that was this class, but you had made up your mind.
“deal.” your smile widened as you stuck out a hand, his own coming out to shake yours as he mirrored your expression.
this was going to be interesting.
——
your one on one study sessions had only been going on for a few weeks but you were already starting to grasp the concepts more with zhang hao’s help. “just call me hao.” you recall him insisting on multiple occasions, unaware of the way your brain would try and twist the intimacy behind it. just friends, you had to remind yourself, that was all you two would ever be, and that was honestly more than you ever could have expected.
“hao,” the name rolling off your tongue, “it’s getting late, can’t we wrap this up?” you whined, pouting a little in hopes of getting sympathy from the boy. as smiley as he was, he was also quite the hard-ass when it came to studying.
“one more question and then we can be done for tonight, deal?” he smiled, gesturing to the last practice question from this page. you let out a huff as you mumbled an acceptance of the deal, grabbing your pencil once again as you wrote out the explanation, scouring your brain for the scientific phrases to communicate your thoughts.
zhang hao looked over your final answer with a content hum, his hand coming over to ruffle your hair, “good job, you’re getting the hang of this.”
you stiffened at the contact and praise, you had never really gotten validation like that, especially not from someone like him, and your brain was running with it.
when you originally agreed to this arrangement you hoped that maybe it would be your way to get over your little campus crush on the boy sitting next to you, but it had only gotten worse, and you were slowly losing it. taking a moment to shake the thoughts from your mind, you started gathering your stuff up to leave, as was zhang hao.
“don’t forget you’re stuck with me tomorrow too, y/n!” he chuckled lightly before saying his farewells and leaving first, rushing off to meet up with his friend; you were sure he mentioned his name once before, ricky maybe? something like that.
you only nodded as you waved, grabbing your jacket off the back of the chair and slinging your backpack over your shoulder, but then something caught your eye; a light blue hoodie draped across the back of the back of the chair next to you. zhang hao’s sweater. the boy was already long gone, and based on how often he was sporting the hoodie, you assumed it was one of this favourites, so you couldn’t just leave it here. “i’ll just give it back to him tomorrow.” you mumbled to yourself, picking up the sweater and resting it over your arm.
when you got back to your dorm you folded the sweater nicely on your desk, right in your view so you wouldn’t forget it tomorrow. as much as you tried to ignore it, that night you couldn’t help but notice the warm citrus scent of his cologne, and you swore you could smell it in your dreams that night.
——
the next day was a brisk spring day, the warm air having been replaced by a crisp, almost cold, breeze. to say you had not dressed properly was an understatement, you thought to yourself as you walked across the campus towards the library. in a moment of weakness as you called it, or rather a moment of strong winds, you took it upon yourself to throw the pale blue hoodie over your frame. he wouldn’t mind too much right?
sitting at your usual table in the library, you set up your many papers and textbooks, not paying attention as the boy you had grown close to approached the table, a little out of breath.
“sorry i’m late,” he breathed out, catching his breath after seemingly running here.
“it’s okay, i was early,” you laughed, finally looking up at the boy who’s cheeks were flushed light pink.
you watched as his gaze traced your figure, taking notice of the sweater you were wearing, “is that my sweater?”
now it was your turn to flush a shade of pink, trying to form a sentence as you stuttered through excuses, “oh, i’m sorry,” an awkward laugh escaped your lips, “it’s just you left it here yesterday and so i was bringing it to give back to you but it was colder outside than i thought it was and so i put it on on the way here without really thinking, i can give it back right now,” you barely stopped to take a breath, “or i can go wash it and then give it back if you’d prefer.” your train of thought was stopped by his hand on top of yours, your mind going from a million miles a minute to frozen solid in mere moments.
“it’s okay y/n,” he chuckled at your flushed expression as he sat down next to you, “it looks cute on you anyways.” he said simply, moving his gaze to the textbooks in front of you as he flipped to the pages you were on the day before.
this boy was going to be the death of you.
——
something in the air seemed to change after that day, and it wasn’t just the scent of the blooming cherry blossoms in the breeze. something had changed with you two, and perhaps that was how the two of you ended up in your dorm room rather than the library, and on a saturday of all days.
“what homework have you got for me today teacher zhang hao?” you joked, leaning back on the arms as you sat on the end of your bed, looking at the boy who sat comfortably in your desk chair.
“aren’t i allowed to just hang out with my friend without talking about plate tectonics?” he said, a joking sarcasm lacing his tone.
you only laughed in response as you tried to control your heart beating out of your chest at the simple, friendly, term.
before you knew it, the day had faded into night in a blur of laughter and conversation; real conversation. it was a nice change of pace, and as much as you hated to admit it, the more you got to know him, the more your campus crush had changed into just a genuine crush.
you tried to ignore it, but it was so hard to ignore the comfort you felt being around him, how easy it was to slip into conversations and how easy he made you laugh. how were you supposed to not think about that.
and much to the dismay of your heart, these weekend hangouts had become a sort of routine. on top of seeing him most weeknights at the library, your interactions had spilled into the weekends quite seamlessly. whether it was just having a movie night in your dorm room, wandering campus during sunset, or even just doing normal young adult things like going shopping. the two of you had even gotten into the habit of accompanying each other on errands just to keep the other company.
it was nice, you couldn’t lie, but the domestic activities made it that much harder to separate your romantic and platonic feelings for the boy.
and here you were, awaiting the arrival of the boy on a saturday night. every time your phone lit up you rushed to grab it, just in case it was from hao, the casual name becoming more natural over the weeks.
this time it actually was a message on your screen, you found yourself quickly unlocking your phone to see what it said. “i’m going to stop at the store on my way over,” the text read, “do you want anything?”
before the voice of reason in your head could object, you typed back a quick response, “you.” simple, straight forward, to the point. everything you weren’t. it was already too late to cover up your boldness as you watched the typing bubble appear, in sync with the wave of anxiety and near nausea that washed over you.
“you think you can afford me?” he joked back, rolling with the conversation more smoothly than you ever could have, evidently. you typed back a quick laugh, hoping he wouldn’t see the truth behind your original response, “probably not, maybe i’ll just take some gummy worms.” you replied before nearly throwing your phone across the cramped room.
and to think, you were stuck with him all night.
——
you tried to focus on the movie, you really did, but the all too familiar feeling of wandering eyes and a racing heart took over your senses, and who could blame you? it wasn’t every day you found yourself sharing a blanket with the prettiest and kindest boy you’d ever known. you almost wondered if he could feel the heat radiating from you, or if he would just blame it on the fuzzy blanket covering your legs. you hoped it would be the latter.
soon enough the credits were rolling and you finally pulled yourself from the thoughts spinning around your mind, just in time for hao to turn to you with a smug smile. “you didn’t pay attention to any of that movie, did you?” the question caught you so off guard you actually choked a little on the sharp intake of breath. was it that obvious? you wondered. you really had to work on your expressions it seems.
“what’s on your mind y/n?” the smooth, almost teasing tone in his voice would’ve probably made your knees give out had you not already been sat down in your bed.
you managed to stutter out a response, rather reminiscent of the first real conversation you two had months prior. “oh it’s, uhm,” you quickly tried to come up with a believable excuse, settling on possibly the worst one, “it’s nothing.” the stiff laughter did nothing to help your case as he grinned at you knowingly, hopefully not too knowingly.
“so i’m nothing now?” he feigned offense as his hand came up rather dramatically to his chest. “i thought i meant more to you than that, y/n.” he teased, obviously enjoying watching the gears turn in your brain as you attempted to process the conversation that was happening.
busted.
there was no coming back from it now and you knew it, and more importantly, he knew it. at some point he had picked up on your lingering gaze, your quick glances that you thought had gone unnoticed. all there was left for you to do was either admit your growing feelings, or play dumb about the whole thing. and somehow you decided the latter was the smartest option.
“i, uh, don’t know what you’re talking about.” another forced laugh pushed past your lips, getting past your thumping heart on the way out.
it seemed that your reaction filled zhang hao with a new sense of confidence, because he did the last thing you expected him to do; lean in. not close enough for your lips to graze each other, but close enough to feel his breath on you, to feel the heat radiating off of your faces. close enough to feel the thick tension in the air, but you were sure anyone could feel that if they were here, you could even cut it with a knife.
“i think you know exactly what i’m talking about,” he smiled, your eyes darting down to his lips that were only a couple inches from your own before looking back to his eyes; warm and inviting.
you weren’t sure what to say anymore, and so you made the bold decision to close the gap; only briefly, but long enough to taste the cherry lip balm that coated his lips, to feel the way his lips fit against yours. like tectonic plates.
what started as one chaste kiss turned into 2, and then 3, and then a gentle kiss of yearning, of waiting, accompanied by his soft hands on your cheeks. you couldn’t help but lean into his touch, his soft hands feeling like silk against your burning skin. you could feel him smile into the kiss as your body eased, relaxing into a rhythm. time slowed and suddenly the two of you were the only people in the world, the boy in front of you filling all of your senses. zhang hao. zhang hao. zhang hao. your brain echoed as you pulled away, giddy smiles plastered across both of your faces.
“is that what you were on about?” you smiled, your voice barely above a whisper as your eyes flickered between his lips and his eyes once again.
he let out a small laugh, “what do you think?” he sat back against the wall once again, admiring the way the glow from the tv illuminated your skin, and the way you couldn’t wipe the grin off your face. “i thought you’d never do something about it.” he laughed again, this time grabbing your hand lazily.
“listen,” you started, “i didn’t think you noticed, and i was okay to keep it that way,” you looked down at your interlocked hands, your mind silently replaying the last 5 minutes on a loop, rendering yourself no better than a broken record. “you’re the zhang hao, everyone has at least a bit of a crush on you, so why would i assume i had any chance.”
he shook his head as a proud smile spread across his face, “everyone?” he asked, leaving you to lightly smack his arm, a small yelp coming from the boy. “okay okay, no need to smack me,” he laughed, “but really, you thought you didn’t have a chance? why would i have offered to tutor you if i didn’t have at least a bit of an interest in you?”
you let yourself ponder for a moment, looking back on the now distant memory. “i just thought you were being nice!” you stated matter-of-factly, earning another giggle from the boy, you could get used to that sound, or rather, being the reason behind it.
he merely smiled, pressing another kiss to your lips, “well i’m not nice like this to anyone else, if that helps make it more clear.”
“good,” you mirrored his smile, taking in the beauty that was the boy in front of you, the boy who seemed to fit with you like the tectonic plates.
“because i don’t think i could handle the idea of you spending your wednesday nights talking about rocks with anyone else.”
genre: angst turning into fluff // warnings: arguments and crying obviously, shouting
author’s note: thank you for requesting anonie <3
(★ω★)/ [requested♡]
ੈ✩‧₊˚ jiwoong
after an argument, you two would need your time by yourselves before approaching the problem. jiwoong withdraws in the kitchen, calming himself down and gathering his thoughts before heading to your shared room. before opening the door he hears a faint sound of your sobs and he sighs to himself. he enters the bedroom and notices you sitting on the edge of the bed, back turned to him. jiwoong approches you quietly, wraps his arms around your torso and strokes your shoulders. with reassuring words and apologies, he calms you down in order to have a serious talk together.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ zhang hao
zhang hao is petty and would always want to have the last word. you guys would speak relatively loud (because hao is originally loud) but not to the point of yelling at you. every time you would try to finish the argument because the bickering was getting long and tiring, he would always bring something up and add fuel to the fire. you were trying to avoid arguing some more and declares that you were heading to the room to rest. hao apparently didn’t want to finish this later and he grabs your arm to make you turn around, while shouting your name rather loudly. you can’t help the tears rolling down your cheeks as you look at him. his eyes soften as he takes you in his arms, constantly cursing himself for making you cry. will pamper you for the rest of the night as an apology.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ hanbin
100% the type to cry with you. hanbin is an empath and the argument most definitely occured just because you were mad or sad at something so he became sad too and since you were both sensitive now, the smallest disagreement caused conflict. would want to treat the problem immediately. when he realises that you will start yelling and rambling very soon, he suggests for you two to calm down and settle on the couch to talk. the open heart conversation made you cry and hanbin followed soon after, both overly apologising for hurting each other. throughout the conversation you notice how softly he looks at you and how attentive he is to your body language. "tell me the truth" he says when he notices your eyes avoiding his and "it’s okay, i’m here" when he feels your fingers anxiously play with his. you definitely take a power nap together after, exhausted from all the tears.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ matthew
you hear the door opening followed by a loud thud as a bag drops to the floor; matthew is back from the gym. he had stayed there for a relatively long time today, probably to relieve stress after you two had an argument this morning. you had assured him through texts that you were fine but your puffy nose and red cheeks can't hide the fact that you had been crying the entire afternoon. after you hid your tissues under your pillow, you watch him as he slightly opens the door. matthew immediately notices your sad face and whines, rushing to your side. he laughs nervously, engulfing you in a hug and leaving pecks all over your face. "you shouldn't lie to me", he apologizes over and over again as he tickles you to try to set a happier mood.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ taerae
it was never taerae's intention to raise his voice at you but he sometimes can't control how loud it is. you had been listening to him as he sits in front of the bedroom door that you had closed. apologizing, blaming himself, he had tried everything to get you to open the door for him and despite how much you want to hug him, you don't want him to see you in this state. he hears your sobs and he once again gets mad at himself. suddenly, taerae rests his back against the door and starts singing. you take a moment to calm down with his soft voice and finally open the door. he immediately wraps his arms around your waist, his face diving into the crook of your neck. the night is filled with sorry’s and i love you’s as he lulls you to sleep.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ ricky
ricky spots you quietly crying on the couch after you had a small argument in his room an hour ago and he is unsure of how to treat the problem and how to comfort you. he grabs a glass of water from the kitchen and, without a word, hands it to you. while you quietly take a sip, he grabs a tissue from the coffee table, wiping your tears with a soft smile on his face. you pucker your lips, both as a sign of "i acknowledge this as an apology" and as a "i’m not mad at you anymore" and he giddily places a peck on your lips, then your nose and eventually all over your face. "i’m sorry" you two mutter at the exact same time and the coincidence makes you burst out loud, already forgetting about what you were mad about in the first place.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ gyuvin
it was hard to hide your tears from gyuvin who has been stuck to your side as soon as the argument toned down a bit. you had probably never seen him this quiet and it makes you think about how hurt he must’ve been. it was your first big fight with gyuvin and you’re still scared about how you’re supposed to solve it. you’re sitting on his lap, hugging, as you both stroke each other’s back. you pull back to look at him and notice his big round and sparkly eyes. he swipes his finger under your eye before the tear can roll down your cheek and you cradle his face in return, placing a small kiss on his forehead.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ gunwook
soft touches!! gunwook tries his best to understand and listen to you and he always makes an effort to be a good boyfriend overall. you couldn't help your sobs, feeling a bit embarrassed about how you were soaking his hoodie while crying on his shoulder. when you're done crying and ready to apologise for crying too hard because you were just being too emotional, he stops you. "it's okay to cry, you're all good" gunwook says softly, placing your head back on his shoulder as he glides his fingers through your hair. you end up talking all night about each other's concerns and feelings which definitely reinforced your relationship.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ yujin
honestly speaking, he might avoid you at first. teasing and bickering would be a common thing in you and yujin's relationship because you're still young and a bit childish sometimes. however, it was the first time such an intense fight happened. you could both hear each other's sobs as you awkwardly sit on the couch but you were purposely ignoring each other. out of spite? maybe. but out of fear? surely. when the room gets quieter, yujin finally speaks "why are you mad?" he asks bluntly. you glare at him, tears already building up again before he blurts out a "sorry." you pat his head, realising that he is just trying his best to apologise. give him some time and do not take his sometimes clumsy and honest comments to heart, he is still learning :)

the rain outside your window was heavy, creating an unwavering rhythm as drops hit the ground. of course it had to be fucking raining.
you were on the foot of your bed, legs dangling off, head resting on your boyfriend's shoulder, and mind wandering even though you'd asked him to talk with you for a bit. "gunwook?"
"yea?"
"what makes someone a good or bad person?"
he took your hand.
"good and bad are subjective terms."
"of course. but to you, what does it mean?"
"the best people in my life are always trying to improve. it's not that they're perfect or anything, but they're trying to make the world around them better."
tears ran silently down your face. he naturally, went to go grab the tissues on the nightstand.
"honestly? i made a mistake, wookie. i said stuff that hurt my friend. and they've already told me about this issue before. i apologized, but they said our relationship won't be the same as before."
you paused. "i don't think i'm a good person. actually, i know i'm not."
"what makes you think so?"
you thought for a moment. "i tend to avoid a lot of conflict, get emotional when i'm confronted even though i know sometimes it's warranted, and find it hard to exercise empathy at times. i lost some friends because of that and i wouldn't be surprised if people hated me for it."
"well," he countered, "you volunteer frequently at the community garden, you help our friends babysit, you're always trying to bring new projects to fruition, you're passionate about learning and you're very good at giving others advice."
he smiled slightly.
"so, which one is the real you? the you that i describe, or the one you describe?"
you elbowed him lightly. intellectual tests were something you two often liked to do, just to challenge the other. whether it was debates on court cases, or bets on who could solve the daily sudoku faster, he always kept you on your toes.
"ugh, i know what you're doing. of course, two truths can be true at once. it just hurts to look at myself in the mirror some days."
you paused before continuing. "looking at myself after i've done something wrong, it's like focusing a big ugly spotlight on my flaws."
he gently hugged you. "you don't have to be perfect. i'm not either."
you couldn't hold in your emotion any longer and began to sob more violently. you wanted to blame it on the rain, the blistering wind, not your emotions.
"honestly, i feel fucking terrible... i hate not knowing what to do next. i hate when someone hates me. i hate the way i acted."
you trailed off as you realized how snotty your nose was, and you stopped to blow it.
"if you truly apologized, all you can do is change and accept the outcome that comes next," he said. "i trust you."
you could feel him rubbing tiny circles on your knee. "also, it's the first time living for all of us. be a little nicer to yourself, okay? i hate seeing you cry."
still buried in his arms, you nodded. he may not be perfect, but certainly, he was an angel and that you were lucky to have someone like him.
in your heart, you knew maybe some people thought you were a bad person. some probably thought you were a good one. truth was a complex thing.
at the end of the day, you could always try and be better (even though the process was going to be painful, and you were likely going to bitch and moan about it many times.)
you pulled yourself out of his embrace, trying to collect yourself.
"i guess, we're kinda like gems," you whispered. "showing different facets for different people. "
he grinned. "that's the y/n i know. perceptive and smart."
you shrugged. "at least i know that."
gunwook offered you the box of tissues. "feel better now? "
you closed your eyes. "kinda. the guilt's lingering, but i'm going to give our friendship time. talking to you did help."
the rain began to let up, giving way to a rainbow in the distance. you stared at it with him, as if it was there to remind you of the fact that bad and good could go hand in hand.
he gazed at the bedroom door and spoke up after about a minute. "so, did you still want to go bake cookies?"
you instantly perked up at the mention of sweets. "can't say no to that!"

[miscommunication? nah too much communication] - i take no arguments. bro will Talk out everything and anything and we love that for him. there will be no unnecessary miscommunication drama in his household. it's like he has his green flag video game stats maxed out completely
౨ ˖ 김지웅 : KIM JIWOONG ৎ ⋆
[... there's too many beds] - this guy will nawt be caught slipping. any time you get mysteriously stranded and have to spend the night at a hotel all alone with him, he will make sure to book 2 separate rooms by hook or by crook (he behaves really nicely and politely with the hotel staff and they just melt and give in to his demands >.<). it's a whole other topic that by the end of the night either you or him take the initiative to softly knock at the other's door because you "jus' can't seem to fall asleep.."
౨ ˖ 章昊 : ZHANG HAO ৎ ⋆
[really, really nice guy who hates only you] - an absolute model of the sweetest guy ever ™ for some reason acting like an absolute hater *only* towards you. but plot twist (because if he actually hated us i couldn't deal w that.) his prickly, irritated, downright bitchy behavior towards you is due to him not knowing how to be normal around you without putting on some kind of a facade. due to yk. him being head over heels in love w you (yes i'm delusional.) the confession would finally be yelled out in the middle of an argument over some random, irrelevant issue neither of you actually care about, thanks for asking

[.......... fake amnesia. we listen and we don't judge please] - going out on such a limb here but okay hear me out what if someone confessed to him. and he didn't know how to reply. so he. faked being an amnesiac. and obviously the person who confessed was worried so they like idk called you, his friend, up for help. cut to you reaching there like ???? wtf and him being like i'm sorry :) please help :). and obviously delicious shenanigans ensue afterward yum yum
౨ ˖ 김태래 : KIM TAERAE ৎ ⋆
[Way Too Hot to cuddle] - super specific winter based scenario but imagine you want to initiate more physical contact w your bf but don't exactly know how to say it so you mess around with the heater, to have a convenient excuse, but instead of lowering the intensity of the heat just a tad you accidentally. max the heat settings. and also break the heat adjustor. oops. it may be literally snowing outside but it's basically an entire sauna in there. you do Not know how to fix it.
(when you eventually end up asleep though, taerae simply takes out the plug of the heater right before wrapping you up in a huge comfy embrace :P)
౨ ˖ 沈泉锐 : SHEN QUANRUI ৎ ⋆
[true hate's kiss <3] - dipping into fantasy territory for the most royalty manhwa coded guy ever. you're cursed by some petty witch for whatever reason with the condition that only a kiss from your enemy would break it but for some reason didn't know about the condition. and in universe, you and ricky would already be rivals but when he found out about your curse as well as how it could broken (he's super smart/has connections okay just roll with it) he'd go out of his way to hide his own feelings piss you off more and more till your hatred is at an all time high. when you finally burst and strike a heated argument with ricky he ends up kissing you. (the audience cheers)
wait also imagine if after he kisses you nothing happens. the curse doesn't lift. wasn't the condition for your enemy to kiss you? so even if you were the only one who hated him it should've worked, no? ..
alternatively. the curse is lifted when he kisses you. but!! you don't know that. and him kissing you out of the blue would only lead to you being even madder at him. ong the angst potential is SOARING. do you guys get what i mean
god do i need to write a fic for this.
౨ ˖김규빈 : KIM GYUVIN ৎ ⋆
[everyone being convinced that you aren’t actually dating] - when you end up confessing to best friend!gyuvin and learning that he, in fact, likes you back, you start dating and couldn't be happier. except that ... literally no one believes it. you could be literally making out in front of all your friends and they'd be like haha! classic gyuvy/n like ...... gyuvin obviously would never let go of the opportunity to suggest actually getting married "only to show them that you're together frfr"
౨ ˖박건욱 : PARK GUNWOOK ৎ ⋆
[accidentally kidnapping a mafia boss?!?!] - unrealistic coded but let me set the scene. your roommate asks you to fake-kidnap one of their friends for a surprise birthday party and you comply. but!! you didn't what the person looked like. meaning the vague description you were texted was all you had to go off of. and well. obviously that doesn't go well. you end up coaxing gunwook over to your place only for your roommate to be absolutely flabbergasted and in a terrified tone, tell you that you have the wrong person. who just so happens to be rather notoriously well known. all while he sits there like :]
౨ ˖ 한유진 : HAN YUJIN ৎ ⋆
[love triangle but plot twist the two love interests get together instead] - school au where both of you have a crush on the class president-! constant competition and trying to one-up the other for their attention wraps up yujin and you in such a whirlwind that neither of you can actually tell when it stopped being about wooing the pres but instead became all about subtly trying to make the other jealous so they would finally take the first step
