🌊 I can practically taste the finish line. There's just one more exam to go and then I'll be free to pursue my thesis. And as you may have already figured it out, I've set myself a challenge - finishing the thesis by the middle of August. I really want to present it at the end of September, so that I can pursue a Bachelor's degree a bit earlier. 🌿 Seeing nature come back to life after a long period of hibernation is quite invigorating. All the flower buds fight for a chance of warm sunlight and all the leaves emerge from a deep slumber. 🌻 I love watching the little buds becoming a hotspot for all the local bees that want to pollenate the nature around them. And using a macro lens to capture that beauty is so astonishing to me, because real life can in cases like these seem so inferior to a macro photograph. ⛰️ I am in no way saying that photos are better than nature, however the way we perceive the nature around us with the naked human eye can sometimes lack the definition of a macro lens. Plus, memories fade and in a month or two, we will forget how a certain flower looked or a certain leaf fell off of a tree, but photos immortalise those moments. All we need to do is open up that awesome album of the day we want to remember and there it is - all the little souvenirs we took along the way so that we could remember the amazing trip we took to that one particular spot. 🍀 • 🌿 I usually don't buy gifts or souvenirs for my closest friends and family because of a few different reasons. However I believe that photos are a beautiful and more unique way of capturing the essence of a place, rather than buying a trinket that will only be left forgotten on a windowsill, gathering dust. 💚 • 🌼 What is the most interesting souvenir that you have ever bought or made on one of your holidays?
