The story started with Sirius, his second chance, his life, why did you just decide to follow the books?You changed so many good things in this story, why did you decided to kill him? he deserved a happy ending.

As I just answered in another ask:

I felt that it was important to the story because losing Sirius there is what makes Harry take that next step from boy to man. I called it a A Second Chance because it is a second chance: For everyone. Harry was given the childhood he deserved; Sirius was given the life with Harry he deserved; Sirius was given the chance to meet Zee and fall in love; Remus was given the chance to live a life not of poverty and hate, but full of love and friendship; Remus was given a chance to meet Tonks early and spend more time with her... a chance for a better life. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t sadness, that there isn’t death and loss -- it just means they had a chance to live a better life... and they lived it well.

One of my reviewers summed it up perfectly in my opinion: MiyuKuran on Ao3 says: "Sirius was our main character. This was his story, his second chance, he's the man who raised the boy who lived and that story was his, not Harry's. Sirius was our main character, not that Harry wasn't important, but we viewed this world through Sirius's eyes and now that he's gone... Play time is over. This is the real start of the second wizarding war, before it was preparation on both sides a cold war like tension, minor tiffs here and there but, The War is here for real, and so the story must shift from a man trying to raise a son to the son raising to the challenge and facing evil. It's a beautiful transition, and I am angry. I am supposed to be angry because Harry is angry and this is now his story. He has inherited the position of Main Character, and now Sirius can't shield him from the war. It's real now. Childhood is over."

And whether people agree or disagree with me, it’s where I felt the story should go. I won’t change it.
