The immediate second they started talking I fell in love lmaoo- if they want a third in the marriage they should hmi /j

(spoilerish talk ahead) im so glad that Zelda was given a sweeter parental dynamic. Cuz her dad makes me so angry lmaoo, I really don't like that guy, and then ofc Zelda's mother was out the picture very early on. So to have rauru and Sonia, the kindest characters ever, meet Zelda and have that protective kind of parental role for her warmed my heart.

(BIG SPOILERS:) and then ofc Nintendo can't let us be happy so naturally she watches Sonia die right in front of her. Thanks for that Nintendo. Really cool. Just traumatize Zelda all over again skdbjsdn

But in the end they're great characters and the art department did an incredible job

Before Totk released, the artbook leaked several months in advance and in it was Sonia’s character design. I didn’t know how relevant she would be but I hyped her up with my bestie, created multiple theories about her, even nicknaming her because the book never specified her name. Sonia was my homegirl and wasn’t even released yet.

When she appeared in one of the trailers, I cheered. When I first saw her in game I literally screamed and jumped up saying “ITS HERRR” like that Leonardo DiCaprio meme.

We don’t talk about how the next tear/flashback I got (accidentally went out of order) was of her death scene.

Anyways the point of all this is that I will mourn very deeply when Age of Imprisonment releases and finally gives a more in-depth look at her character…meanwhile I am without a Nintendo Switch 2.
