Jackson came to a stop, lifting his head and gazing upward for a second with a contemplative look on his face before he glanced down when he felt a nudge against his leg. Jael looked up at him questioningly, head tilted to the side before his eyes flew to the holocaster Jack was holding. "Right. This thing.. I don't use it much, do I? But this time..." he frowned for a second before looking back at it.
Swallowing once, he finally puffed out his cheeks before calling his uncle's number, brows knitted together. A few seconds later, the image of his uncle was hovering over the device, and he could not help the bright smile that came upon his face.
"Hey champ in the making!" called out the man, putting up a hand with a somewhat cheeky grin upon his face. "So, to what do I owe the honor?" he questioned, causing a grim look to appear on the youngster's face.
"It's about something... Quite troubling.... If you ask me. I've been seeing much of them. There's this disturbance in Kalos region, I thought I could tell you about it. Maybe you could do something against it."
A frown appeared on the man's face and he leaned forward a bit, resting his arms on the table, a Scrafty looking over his shoulder with a young Scraggy upon his head.
"Well there's this team, they call themselves Team Flare. I think they're up to no good and-- Zemar?"
That was odd.. the holocaster hadn't a problem before this... Tapping against it twice, he tried fixing the screen only to find himself failing. "Uncle, can you hear me?"
"Barely-- kgrrk -- you -- krgg -- Jack?"
The screen flickered out and left the young teen standing quietly near the Pokécenter, eyes fixed upon the device. Holo Caster....
Created by-- No. That was just a lil' stroke of bad luck...
"Darn it... Gotta bring it in to let someone fix that bug."
The Growlithe glanced up, head tilted to the side before he pushed against the other's leg.
"Alright, alright! I'll give you guys your food now!"
