I think that my connection to deer stems from a couple of things. The first being the fact that I'm a wolf. I feel such a deep connection to deer because they are my prey. We coexist. I identify with them as we cannot live properly without each other. The other reason is that I'm part deer. As a deer-faun, I feel a connection to deer as they are my kin, my family.
