How liberating it is to give up any sense or idea of control - on the events around us, on the people around us, and at its height, even on our own selves. What a stupid idea is to fake control as if we are the absolute masters of our destinies. Poor humans, we can't even have control on our own involuntary muscles, let alone the thousands of cells functioning day and night without our knowledge, and the millions of neural activities of our brains happening at the speed of light without our consent. And then we walk on earth as if we are the absolute monarchs. No, we aren't. It is the highest sense of liberation to give up control, every bit of it. To flow like a river, to drift like a breeze - wherever we are being taken to, however we are being taken...
