Have you seen the new animated show created by Rapheal Bob-Waksburg called Long Story Short?

Yes! I watched it a few months ago, and it was a blast to watch! Having the episodes bounce between different points in time was a bit disorienting, but was a really cool framing device. It also has that classic Bojack vibe of it being a wacky sitcom but not having everything be resolved with a neat bow as characters have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Adore all the characters and I can't wait till season 2!

My only experience with Ranma 1/2 is a trailer for the movie "Big Trouble in Nekonron China" that used to play on my old Pokemon VHS tapes.

It's a cute show! Very refreshing in a lot of ways from current anime. The women characters have Actual Normal Body Proportions and Goals. There's a devious sister and she's allowed to be devious, it's not her being a mustache-twirling villain or A Seducer or some shit. There's a lot of running gags reminiscent of earlier anime. The designs are nice and varied without being glaring and the color palates are really nice. Ranma turns into a woman and it's not a big deal unless someone calls her "girly" and then she beats them up.

There is a boob joke per episode, give or take, but 85% of them are just Ranma going "I may be stuck with a girl's body half the time but at least I got Massive Honkers" WITHOUT said honkers being the size of a low-flying airplane. Definitely recommend if you like romcoms!

(Ranma himself also gives a LOT of autistic vibes. My man is VERY clueless but trying his best.)

What I WILL write - Slice of life, fluff, mild angst, light smut (PG-13 at most), comedy, fetish

What I will NOT write - Extreme violence, gore, explicit sex, abuse, hate fics, gross-out

Prices: 1,000 word max - $15 2,000 word max - $25 Two characters max + $5 for each additional character.

Five Headcanons:

He was Gaston’s unfavorite son, so he ended up pretty neglected growing up, even by Gaston’s standards. Gil ended up basically being raised by LeFou.

While Uma and Harry are both pretty sinister in their own right, Gil is definitely the nicest of the bunch. He doesn’t really do anything malicious unless it’s at Uma or Harry’s behest. Not that he’s harmless, per se, but he’s definitely a teddy bear who keeps company with some very angry and vicious friends.

He’s a total pushover, which the other kids on the island took advantage of. Uma took pity on him and made him her muscle guy to keep others from messing with him. He’s still a pushover for Uma (and Harry), but at least thy at least somewhat have his best interest in mind.

He and Harry are sexually if not romantically involved. Sexuality wise, I’m not sure yet what he is. He’s definitely not as *ahem* horny as Harry obviously is, but I don’t think he’s ace-spec. He might just be a big gay teddy bear.

I’m not as good at spotting this as @jcmorrigan, but I think he might have Asperger’s? Maybe? He has difficulty with social cues in canon and has trouble with facial recognition, so I kind of got that vibe.
