The Palace in Kaifeng has updated its boss: the Tyrant(独夫dufu). He is a phantom born from the hatred of Zhao Da’s enemy. His name is taken from Ode to the Epang Palace: “The heart of the tyrant hardened daily in arrogance and obstinacy.” (fyi zhao da was a wise ruler in history. this boss is just how his enemies viewed him in the game.)

Hu Ba Yi is well versed in Feng Shui with specialization in tomb configuration, which he learned from an antique book he inherited from his family. Review of drama:
Ok so it was very very interesting. /gen I'm not joking. In the beginning, I definitely got like lost tomb vibes but after some time and thought, I realized, I shouldn't compare the two. There many differences, including the appearance of supernatural beings. Also no cute gay moments between any characters so that was a shame. It was a lot more subtle or at least more natural seeming creatures in lost tomb while candle in the tomb did not hold back. I really enjoyed it and literally breezed through it. No regrets and I shall go on to the second season! (which will also have a whump list) (coming soon to theaters near you!) I hope you enjoy! It's a great show.
Like A Flowing River 2 has recently finished filming, and released stills of the cast led by Wang Kai, Yang Shuo, Dong Zijian. Yang Caiyu, Li Guangjie, and Sun Yizhou join season 2. Director Li Xue (The Disguiser) replaces Kong Sheng (All Quiet in Peking) as the co-director to Huang Wei. The 50 episode drama is scheduled to air on Dragon TV / Beijing TV at the end of the year.
