Ooh, awesome! I'd seen where they were first starting to fiddle around with affecting the N64 through the transfer pack, but not where they actually achieved the ACE.

What's up with some of the DS cases being thicker than others? Are some of them American or something? My French SoulSilver has a thick case and I just assumed all European DS games were like that.
The thicker ones are European, yeah - I always assumed the European boxes are thicker to accommodate instruction booklets in like five languages. The majority of my DS games, funnily enough, are not European - I bought Trozei in Australia, Shadey bought Ranger, PMD1 and Pearl in America, I got someone to buy Diamond in America and mail it to me, and Platinum/Guardian Signs/White/Conquest/Black 2 were all ordered online, I believe. The reason, of course, is ridiculously delayed European releases. I am so happy they’re doing simultaneous worldwide releases nowadays!

I’m not comfortable with their “Acceptable Ads” thing. As it says at the top of the guide, it’s my scorched-earth protocol; to the extent possible, I’d prefer that the software suggested in there reflect it.

soup bowls & cereal bowls are legit things? oxo; amazon even defines "cereal, soup, salad, pasta, rice, & dessert" bowls as separate categories.
tho ooh dang why haven't i just ordered cereal bowls off amazon!! we lost our real plastic cereal bowls in the move probably (including a pokémon one that i loved, qq) so we've just been buying disposable paper ones since i havent thought about them in the rare times we visit target or walmart or someplace where they might carry plastic cereal bowls. but that gets expensive & there's always amazon! hum!.

the park & ride i mention is sort of our version of the greyhound? i've never taken a greyhound anyway. i'd be leaving from kuykendahl, & if i managed to make it to the bay area stop i'd be at least 2/3rds there, & pretty positive dad would be amenable to picking up from that distance.
the biggest problems there being 1) the stress of navigating an unfamiliar metro on christmas eve & 2) needing to spend way more time than necessary with em, cause busses won't run on christmas day. (´ー｀)
