sometimes when i'm at school or chilling with my fam, i forget all about this blog and this fandom. it feels so fucking good, man. like, really fucking good. imagine if i left for good? damn, i'd be chillin' real nice.

but this band got me hooked so i don't think i could ever leave. i think imma lay low for a bit tho, just kinda lurk around and enjoy what i can until they get a new management and the fandom's ass gets kicked into gear. maybe one day my dash won't piss me off lmao.

man, don't even get me started, like, the plot, the humor, the fleshing-out of characters, the way agency was always in harry's hands with louis, the way louis worked so hard to give him that choice, the honest-to-god sensuality of the writing...

and above all: the way it said so much about carnal lust and that human desire to fuck up beautiful, holy things, and how there's divinity in love itself, how love is what redeems that sin of desire, and how it's never wrong if it's a choice. (so basically Origin of Love by Mika)

and good god it drives me crazy that people didn't get that. that they reduced it--tried to reduce it--to something cheap and meaningless, something tawdry and trite and fucking hell that was such a rough time, and charlie handled it so well right until they didn't want to anymore.
