With some of my students we have been studying the great drumming of Zigaboo Modeliste. This week we learned the beat from the song Look Ka Py Py. Zigaboo has so many amazing grooves that he created. This is a classic groove that is challenging to get the right feel. I wish I was wrong
2 years of waiting 1year of immense amount of work put into a friendship that you let carelessly deteriorate in only 4 months. Pretty impressive, huh? You lied to me. You told me nothing would change when you went away. You were wrong and I was right. I predicted everything that has happened thus far down to a t. I'm not apart of your world anymore. Your world is based off convenience. That's normal. That's basic. I don't know why I expected you to continue to be my best friend once you got to college. I don't know why I thought you'd answer my texts or help me on a bad night. No. Why would you that? I tired to stick it out for you. I waited, just like you said, for things to calm down at school.
