How are you a senior at Samwell University?
82 nurseydex
82. “This is all your fault! I can’t believe I listened to you!”
(this took me like a month to write lol i’m so sorry)

“Let’s go hiking, you said. It’ll be fun, you said,” Dex grumbled as they made their way down a winding path through the forest.
“Chill, babe. Look at all the nature, isn’t it beautiful?” Nursey grabbed the camera he’d borrowed from Jack and snapped a picture of his boyfriend glaring at him.
Dex was already starting to get a sunburn, despite having applied at least an entire bottle of sunscreen before they left for this day trip. He’d been so busy trying to make sure Nursey had grabbed the water that he’d forgotten his hat back at the Haus. Never again. Next time he would be in charge of the water, and the sunscreen, and the hat, and everything else because Derek was an actual human disaster.
_
Something rustled in the bushes next to them. A squirrel darted out and ran up a nearby tree.
“Will! Look, a squirrel! I’ve gotta get some pictures of that!” Nursey ran off the path and followed the squirrel, snapping pictures the whole way there.
Dex rolled his eyes, still on the path. “Don’t go too far. You’re gonna get lost and I won’t come looking for you.”
“Come oooonnnnn Dexy! Have a little fun! The whole point of hiking is to enjoy the nature and we can’t really do that from the path. Let’s go see some REAL nature. The good shit. Come on!” He ran further down the hill, out of sight.
Dex sighed loudly and followed after him. Derek was an idiot sometimes, but he was Will’s idiot.

1 hour later
_
“We’ve passed that rock five times already. I remember it because it looks like a dick.”
“No it doesn’t. The dick rock was the other way, this is a new rock. It looks more like…I dunno….a tower?”
“Shut up Derek. We’re lost and this is all your fault. I can’t believe I listened to you! All trees are the same! We could have just enjoyed the ones on the path.”
_
Dex pulled out the map and opened it up. “Okay, so we left the trail here,” he pointed to a spot. “And we went to the west, so we’re probably somewhere over there,” he pointed to another spot. “Follow me.”
The two of them headed east, trying to find their way back to the path. What felt like hours later, but was actually only like 20 minutes, they were back to where they started.
_
“Dex! Look! It’s a squirrel!”
“No, Nursey. We’re leaving.”
You're not doing this by yourself, okay? We're a team.
