Ming and her small council were only to be stationed on The Blue Planet for recon and communication for a short period of time, but learning that there was one of the Empire’s Invader’s on the planet prompted some investigation. Sure, while the Blue Planet’s division of the Galactic Protection Force said they had things under control and had him under surveillance by the Membrane Family, they were here for recon.
Ming, as head of Security and Relations for Defectives Of Resist, had to gather information on the Invader for her reports. So they established a temp-base in the neighborhood, and it didn’t take long for their paths to cross and clash. When she discovered this Invader was none other than Zim she had a fuckin’ heart attack. But, to her relief, Zim didn’t really seem to recall exactly who she was... yet. . . . . . .
Meanwhile, in the present, Ming is having another heart attack over said Invader. One of his plans ended up backfiring and blowing up in his face, quite literally, in fact. Ming wasn’t about to just let him die, so she ended up bringing the injured invader into her base, and into the tiny medical station. Now the only problem she’s facing is trying to get a Zim that’s kind of loopy from painkillers to cooperate.
❝ Would you stop trying to get up and take a swing at me every time I turn my back? You aren’t fit to be moving around in your state, you idiot..! ❞

Zim, the green kid currently doubling over in stomach pain, was part of Miss Bitter’s class - not her’s. She only knew him through Dib, and he had a lot to say. From what she could gather through the paranormal investigators’s many claims was that Zim was of an alien spiecies bent on universal conquest. So far none of his diabolical schemes have exactly succeeded, however.
She did not view the irken as a threat to earth...yet.
All that pushed aside, including Zim’s little insult, Vix tutted at the sickly sight with a hint of pity; a very unusual occurance for the Malot.
“Five minutes before ze bell, Zim.” She teased insensitively, leaning in toward him, “You vouldn’t vant to get trampled on, vould you?“
Vix straightened herself upright again, her smirk fading as the alien continued to groan and grumble in agony. Her emerald eyes darted around to make sure no one was looking: the coast was clear. With a strained sigh, she whipped her gloved hand out impatiently, “I vill escort you down ze stairs and leave it at zhat.”

Dib really should take the opportunity to hurt the alien, but curiosity is getting the better of him. He had seen Zim survive things no human could, so what exactly was bringing him to such pain now ? Of course once he found out what it was he’d use it against the Irken like the other assumed, but in order to get that information he’d have to trick Zim.
“ No way, space boy. I hate you and all but I don’t want you throwing up- or whatever you’re about to do- all the time. ” Only a half lie. He really didn’t want that, Zim was disgusting enough without puking but if it stopped the invader from conquering Urth, it was worth it.
“ Why are you even at skool today ? Shouldn’t you be trying to get better from whatever it is you have ? Humans take breaks, you know. ” Long ago he’d have tried to get Zim to the nurse’s office, but after the fiasco from last time Dib figured it would be easier to expose the alien menace himself rather than have a doctor do it.

It was just another typical day on this mess of an Earth, as Dib was quickly approaching a suspicious structure that jutted out from the outskirts of the city. While a majority of the citizens paid no attention to the strange building, Dib, of course, did. He always did, in fact, his entire identity was built upon paying attention to anything and everything the rest of his kind refused to acknowledge, the weight of humanity’s fate always rested on his shoulders, and this was no different.
His coat trailed behind him as Dib Raced towards the mysterious building by his trusty segway Dibmobile, small bolts of electricity bouncing off his glasses as the boy was fiercely determined to stop whatever ZIM had planned.

The child droid stays latched to his Master, in fact just gripping the tunic and hanging from it. “You always says that!”

Eclipse - continued for zimisnotdefective

She smiled in reassurance at the little Irken. “Yes, it’s perfectly safe. The effects only last a few minutes, and then the moon moves away again, and everything goes back to normal.” She then moved the coin out from in front of her flashlight, in the opposite direction, demonstrating the return of the sun.
“Of course, you can’t look at the eclipse until the sun is completely covered. Not without special eyewear.” She gave a nod towards the eclipse glasses among her pile of equipment. “That’s what those are for. So I can watch the partial eclipse too.”
A moment of hesitation as she looked back at Zim. “Er... I may have also figured out what tint to put on a pair of goggles that would fit your eyes. You know. In case you maybe... wanted to watch it too?”
