YEAH I HAVE

i have mixed feelings abt spectre v4!!! i feel like it was too ambitious for DC at that time... it probably would have sold better in current day, u could say it was ahead of its time tbh, the motives it portrayed were way too complex tbh. i enjoyed most of the one-shot stories, when they tried to write a storyline they usually lost me... 

i liked some things... for example - art was always excellent and some mythos were pretty cool. and i gotta appreciate hal fumbling about and not understanding anything. but at the same time... i didnt like the world they built for hal, i didnt like his arch-nemesis, i didnt like his supporting cast... i didnt like that they were constantly bringing things from hals past into his spectre duties because those plots were usually executed poorly... like that time when they brought s.inestro back to fight him or smth... i think the first issues were the best. then it kinda loses focus

I DONT... DISLIKE THE SERIES... i dont hate the concept of hal as the spectre... but yeah i think they were a lil too ambitious... but its still an interesting read?!? i do recommend reading spectre vol 4, its a good time
