Why doesn't Malucia have powers?

I thought about this after I finished publishing another post talking about how weird it was to have only women in Zinia. >This post<

In the movie we have fairies, mermaids, unicorns and several other mythical creatures, they mention that only princesses have magic and Malucia is the only princess without magic. Apart from Alexa, Malucia and her parents are the only humans there, the queen of zinia was once a princess, she has magic and now that she is queen, she is much more technically powerful, but only princesses have magical power, so the king has no powers, remembering that in my other post I talk about how strange it is for the king to be the only man in the kingdom, so much so that Romy doesn't even know what is a boy, so if there are no men in Zinia, what was this guy doing there?
