yknow what? ill say it. loke partnering with gray for the S-class trials bugs me.
like yes hes technically a member of fairy tail and hes there on his own power so lucy can use her other spirits, but like. hes the strongest spirit she has, by taking himself out of the equation he drastically lowers her chances- not the lucy isnt a powerful wizard even without loke but like. he just snatched away one of her gold keys for this trial
and like yes okay celestial spirits are their own people but still!! like. idk it just Bugs me and i Know, then everybodys gonna be like 'well who would gray partner with, him partnering with loke is what balances it out so only that generation is on tenrou' and youre absolutely right but i dont CARE okay this aint about that. it just bugs me.
like yeah hes his own person and yeah once a fairy tail member always a fairy tail member so those people are his nakama too but hes still!! a celestial spirit! still Lucys celestial spirit and like, was being able to just go off with gray a part of his contract or did he spring that on her?
like he can go out and have friends in the human world whenever but then something as important as the S-class trials and Leo the fucking Lion, leader of the zodiac just. ditches his holder. idk it just Irks me
especially ESPECIALLY, okay, ESPECIALLY because you would THINK right you would THINK that considering his backstory, considering his trauma, loke would put Heavy value on being there for his holder, on protecting his holder, and like yes they didnt expect the s class trials to hold any Real danger but STILL!!
