Oil pastels from 2021
Since I'm leaning away from Invader Gems and leaning towards Superverse, I decided it would be a good time to draw the Original Invader Zim cast meeting the Superverse characters whose designs were sorta influenced by them.
I was considering drawing Penny in there too, since her hair thwip, lab coat, and desperate need to proove herself are all kinda similar to Dib's, but I already have Cassandra there, and she's basically D18's "oc" version (she's a bit more librarian-esque than Dib ever was, but still). Zoe Nova's based more on Audrey Rocio Ramirez (from Atlantis) than she ever was on Zim, but she's the rebellious little squirt that blows things up, so I figured she and Zim would get along.

Okay but seriously, this bit has Katy and Digit written ALL over it. Katy's SUCH a reckless twerp, and Digit's like, flustered caution incarnate. (Also I totally made up the ASL Zoe Nova and Digit are using to talk in the first panel, but I have no idea what they're talking about there anyway so I think I'm safe)
