Batb au (this is settled in the movie time period) but it’s Adam with werewolf curse or the beast which every night he turns into a monster,either it’s something he had since he was a child or recently in his adulthood,but still Adam becomes a hairy monster and his mind does a daily ping pong match.Belle better help him out

So Adam's curse is a bit different, in that he spends the night as a beast, but is human during the day. While the beastly mind does not seem to remember being a human, the human mind knows what he's done in the night.
Maurice is herded to the castle by the territorial beast, having fed before coming upon the man in the woods around the castle. Getting him into the locked cell with snarls and snaps.
Belle hunts down her father, and gets to talk with him for a bit before the Beast arrives, maw covered in blood from a fresh kill.
She puts things together, making the trade for her father's freedom, and getting the Beast to agree to see her in the daylight. They begin working together with him, as she noticed the Beast does not attack when fed. She helps him ensure that he's fed before sunset, stuffed full, then she hides in her room during the transformation. She hears a soft scratching at her door and a whimper.
Opening the door, she sees a massive wolf looking at her pleadingly with his tail wrapped around his paws. Well, this was a start.
