Character development
One thing that the show does well is the character developments. Through the years they have been so many charcters shower with their own storylines and personalities but the ones that stood out to me are thows who came in very unlikely ie Holly J, Zoe, Spinner, Alex, Bianca etc but then when the seasons progress you love them like for example rember when Zoe comes in as the washed up girl from a show that goes to Degrassi being mean, cyberbullying Maya and then everyone one nightmare got sexually assaulted at a party however she got justice, then flash-forward to the next class she is confused at first but she finally finds her true self. (you go girl), falls for a beautiful, smart and sexy Syrian girl name Rasha, she also became president and valedictorian.
