Fucking love the symbolism of Zombie Taylor being the one to snarl “DON’T CALL ME THAT!” at 3:50 when the Taylor two to the left of her says, “What’s with that bitch?” Taylor’s fury over being called “that bitch” in front of the world was what caused her reputation to be killed and buried into the ground, not being two faced or calculated or whatever bullshit was going around at the time (idk it’s 2020 now) or otherwise it’d be the orange Grammys Taylor saying it. An added layer to this is that Zombie Taylor is wearing the “Out of the Woods” dress. It suggests the feeling of being almost in the clear, but not quite. She’s not out of the woods yet. There are still a lot of powerful and dangerous people scheming and plotting and manipulating the situation to deal with, and to be frank they will probably be there her entire life. Her reputation may be destroyed again in the future, but that’s okay because she can rise up from the dead any time she wants. A sense of self-preservation is one of Taylor’s most significant character traits. It’s what got her killed the first time, but it’s also what allowed her to claw her way through the mud and stone and come back to fight another day. And of course that’s going to make her seem like a terrifying monster to her opponents. Fuck yeah it does. There’s nothing like a mad woman.

For Rep I was in the nosebleeds and no one was singing or dancing and I felt v out of place. (I dressed up and everything — I was zombie Taylor from LWYMMD)

With the beginning and end of the reputation statium tour, I wanted to do something to commemorate this period in @taylorswift ‘s life and how it has helped people find the people they care about through the noise. When she posted on Instagram on how she wanted to look like a zombie hunter I really wanted her fighting zombie Taylor. This is my first time trying comic book style from The Walking Dead inspiration. With that I cannot wait for the future songs that Taylor will create and with @taylornation and all the Swifties (including me 😁) by her side it will be a long lived future. Also there’s a time-laspe feature on Procreate and I love it so there’s that on this post too 😅. ❤️
