something I noticed in zombie stage
obviously we know that when contestants lose, they lose a part of them. but I noticed something about the significance of what they’re losing -
mizi lost her eyes, even though in alnst she loved and appreciated seeing the beauty in things. we also see she’s quite clumsy
(her almost falling over here) which could also be due to losing her eyes, but I believe it shows just how important her eyes were to her
she’s also much brighter / upbeat in her singing voice than Sua, which makes sense for her. it means she values parts of her FACE, which is what was taken from her
whereas Sua does a great job in dancing, and part of her leg was taken, her BODY not FACE. we also know from alnst that Sua loves to clasp her hands together (bc of what the aliens did to her)
and we see that in zombstage too. then when she loses, she’s losing her arm
again, part of her BODY, arguably one of the most important because of her clasped hands pose.
the contestants don’t just lose parts of them, they lose the most important ones !! which makes me worried bc if ivti is next, what’s the most important to both of them? for till it’s obviously voice, for Ivan I’m not so sure. possibly his hands ?? either way it’s concerning but the symbolism is SOSOSOSO good agh vivinos at it again
