You guys know Zoro's secret villainous identity?

[No, I don't just mean "himself". That's mean. You should apologize, right after he's done laughing maniacally about cutting someone up.]

Specifically, the one from the Chopper Man specials?

You know the ones. They're like Chopper Play Time Pretend side shows. They actually give you a really cute picture if how Chopper sees his crewmates, although obviously they're exaggerated and made over as part of his imagined super hero au. In them, Zoro is a bad guy called "Onigiri Mystery Man" Zorokiller (which proves that Chopper is better at coming up with Pirates epithets than The Office of Pirate Affairs).

I could honestly write a lengthy post just on the subject of Zorokiller. That is precisely the sort of thing in my nerdy wheelhouse. But the centerpieces would come down to a conversation I had while watching the episodes originally:

Me: Wait why rice balls?

Thaniel: It's a pun. You know, his attack, Onigiri? Well, it can mean-

Me: Yeah, yeah, no. But...

Me: So....

Me: So every time Zoro attacks anyone does Chopper think he's just asking for food?

Thaniel: And getting really upset if they don't have any, yeah.

Me: Ohsmysgah.

That last thing is just the sound I make when I am killed in game by an attack of cuteness.

So... We know that Robin carries sweets with her to give to Chopper. That's an established Cute Thing the Strawhats do.

Imagine if cute little Dr. Chopper always made sure to have snacks on him, and after battle was always trying to get Zoro to eat one to help with his blood sugar.

It makes almost too much sense.

Of course Zoro gets grumpy if he has low blood sugar. And of course Dr Chopper would worry about the health of one of his favorite pillows nakama. So, being the best doctor in the whole world (who definitely isn't pleased to hear you say that or anything, stupid!) he's going to carry around something and go running after Zoro once he's finished a long fight, little arms out stretched trying to hold up a snack (and probably failing to keep Luffy from getting there first) while Zoro has no idea why he's so worried.

I also like to imagine that right before the Sunny had to take off from Dressrosa, Chopper shoved a bunch of rice balls in Law's hand, yelling about how he better take good care of his friends and how these were for Zoro of he gets grumpy with anyone don't let Luffy eat them first! Mostly, I enjoy thinking about Law's face when confronted by this trying-not-to-cry reindeer and the realization of the mistake he's made bringing these people there.

And he STILL wouldn't even begin to understand just how bad it was going to get.
