1 Week 1 Palette - Custom Neutral Palette
I am a depotter. I take everything apart so I can make little custom palettes like this. Designed this one for vacation to cover lots of occasions! There is only blush in this one because I have decided to stop wearing bronzer for a while--it sort of just looks like blush on me anyway. I also use the shade base as a subtle highlight so this is a full eye + face palette.
I've found the key to a versatile palette is that it needs at least the following 4 things. Sometimes a single shade can even cover 2...but clearly I have more space and just added extras.
1 matte that can be a daytime single shadow
1 shimmer that can be a daytime single shadow
1 deep shade for evening looks
1 highlight/light shimmer to fix when you go too dramatic
Everyday Neutral Look
Basic bronze/gold eye if my usual go to. It doesn't scream "I'm wearing makeup" but still helps your eye stand out. I messed up the liner and was too lazy to fix it.
Warm Neutral Look
A peachy look. Very light and wearable. I find blush as eyeshadow usually works ok, the color just takes a bit more building.
Daytime Fun Look
Duochromes are perfect way to do color while still being subtle. The transition shade here is misleading in the pan, it definitely goes on more peach than it looks. This colourpop one is not too intense, just a slight flash of blue when you turn. Better liner today.
Evening Smoky Eye
The shimmers don't show up on camera well, but the shade dreamer from ABH Norvina makes anything sparkly and beautiful in low light. I prefer smoky eyes to be dark in just the outer corner rather than dark all over.
No Makeup Look
Just a little bit of shadow for definition.
That's it! On Sunday I was too lazy to wear makeup LOL
