Zulily finally updated their site to say they "made the difficult but necessary decision to conduct an orderly wind-down of the business to maximize value for the companies’ creditors."
It was not orderly. It was actually pretty traumatic and frustrating for both customers and employees. I bet the creditors, if given a choice, would have let people just keep working til at least the 31st. Who fires entire workforces right before Christmas? Shockingly, alot I have noticed.
This will be my last post on the this matter. I am just angry and sad that someone chose to make these decisions. It's motivating and terrifying and just the absolute worst time of year to do to a person. 2023 was kind of a garbage year but at least I can enter 2024 with none of it on me
I wanna get back into reselling stuff. That was fun. Get me a part time ass job and just flip shit. Idk. Unemployment doesn't suit my brain. I've never not had a job. I've never been fired. I live paycheck to paycheck. I dunno what I'm gonna do..

I don't think I've ever identified more with a coffee mug than I do with this one. Me in a nutshell, especially these days.
Online retailer Zulily released findings from a fascinating, first-of-its kind pilot study that used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze human emotions through facial and linguistic expressions. Titled "Brain of the Planner", the study shows exactly what motivates moms to plan, what they experience as a result and how others can learn positive behaviors that enable them to experience similar benefits.
