The long awaited Sentai Critters blog (inspired by @kamenrider-critters and @ultra-critters )

Basically the premise of both blogs but with Super Sentai instead!

4. I will only be doing the red/1 sentai because if I do every single sentai member, I will tear my hair out (also the reason why I didn’t name this blog just Sentai-Critters or Sentai-CrittersRed). I welcome any spin offs of this blog if anyone wants to like

5. No godmodding

6. I’m not going to be adding shipping. I may be a shipper but I’m most likely not going to incorporate shipping here

7. My art is super inconsistent so my bad if some designs change here and there

8. I may be slow in answering asks

All eras of Super Sentai will be here (Showa, Heisei and Reiwa). However, I have not seen all of the shows so I may be getting some of their personalities wrong. Expect some headcanons here and there.

This week's episode of Gozyuger reminds me of Zyuohger episode 24, when Bunglay "revived" Yamato's mother.

I remember I was devastated for Yamato. He lost his mom when he's so young, then got to see her as an adult, got to feel her love and care again... he was VERY skeptical at first before completely giving in to his longing. Then Bunglay killed her right in front of Yamato, just to get his point across. I think I actually cried.

And now Kuon, bringing back to life someone who was akin to a mother to Hoeru (and I stand by that, Mine most definetely saw him as a little brother or smtg. I mean, she's way older than him, but I digress). For what reason, we still don't know, only that it has something to do with his scar. And believe me, I felt so bad for or boy, I just want him to be happy.

But.

For some reason, Gozyuger didn't hit me as hard as Zyuohger. Maybe because on Gozyuger they focused more on the "date" aspect and less on developing Hoeru and Mine's relationship? I just wish we could've seen more of their time in NoOne world, see how they met and survived or something like that.

... maybe it's because I was pretty much in love with Yamato, but who knows.

... should I write a fanfic about it?

Apparently I'm too deep in the Super Sentai hole because I asked my cousin (also a Super Sentai fan) if he thought the Oddball Team could beat the Gozyugers and he didn't know what I was talking about.
