Drawing  inspired  by  this  absolute  banger  of  an  image.  When  I  tell  you  that  I  am  in  love  with  Corinne,  I  mean  I  am  in  love  with  Corinne.  Time  and  just  a  lack  of  motivation  has  hindered  my  ability  to  show  just  how  excited  I  am  to  interact  with  her  across  my  blogs,  but  I  hope  with  some  better  time  management  on  my  behalf  ( and  if  the  universe  could  like  chill  that  would  also  be  helpful ),  I’ll  be  able  to  throw  my  boys  at  her  and  create  even  more  incredible  interactions,  developments  and  put  them  through  so  many  more  shenanigans.  Happy  New  Years  Fae!

“If they heard us, then they should know to stay out.” Harry muttered in frustration as his mouth separated from the column of Gonzo’s neck, the patch of skin let damp and shiny when it caught the light. “And if they come in anyway, getting an eyeful is their own fault.”

Modesty wasn’t something that Harry was known for and he would have been happy to scandalize anyone foolish enough to come through the door, but Gonzo’s words made it clear he felt differently. With a sigh, Harry’s fingers skimmed downwards to give Gonzo’s hips a squeeze as he pressed a final kiss against his mouth.

“It’ll be fine, Zozo.” Beginning to reach for their clothes, Harry draped his shirt across Gonzo’s shoulders to help hide away his scares instead of getting dressed himself. “Not your fault if I decided to ravish you in earshot of others, is it?”

“Hey,  hey,  hey!”  Ford  said  cheerily,  sliding  to  a  stop  in  front  of  Gonzo  and  grinning  wildly,  somehow  managing  to  come  across  as  someone  that  should  be  bigger  than  they  were  in  order  to  match  their  energy.  “So,  gotta  question!  There’s  going  to  be  a  fire,  right?  And  for  a  fire,  you  need  wood,  so  you  want  to  help  me  gather  wood?”

Probably  not  since  Gonzo  had  a  super  soaker,  but  Gio  said  she  wouldn’t  help  and  Edwin  was  off  flirting,  Reed  was  drunk,  and  he  didn’t  know  where  Soren  was,  but  Anise  hadn’t  come  at  all.  His  team  was  out  of  the  question,  so  that  meant  Gonzo  was  his  first  choice.  “Or  do  you  know  people  that  will  get  wood  with  me?  Or  are  we  setting  something  on  fire?”

Shere Khan has an old radio in his Pawn Shop - he’s got many a thing, but that’s a story for another time - and Udyati’s been fiddling with it. And maybe, just maybe, hope isn’t entirely lost; maybe all magic isn’t gone because the old, rickety thing plays tinny sounding songs. Actual songs.

And Udyati sings along as she sets some books aside for Noelani and puts some others away on a high shelf. (Thank goodness Shere Khan’s got a ladder that’s just as old and rickety as the radio!) Then she turns around and comes face to face with Gonzo and for a moment, she sways dangerously.

Udyati’s grip tightens, however, and she does not fall down like Humpty Dumpty did in that one poem. “Oh shii...take mushrooms! Are you okay?! I mean, I didn’t hurt your ears with my wails, did I?” It’s always good to check. “Did Noelani send you? Her books are on the counter.” A beat, and then the dark haired girl climbs down. She beams at Gonzo and says, cheerfully: “Also, Shere Khan wants them back in the same condition, otherwise he’ll gobble me up.” Like he attempted to gobble up Mowgli and everyone knows how that story ended.
