Well I was originally going to post this to the kinkmeme LJ where I found the prompt, but I can’t figure out the system for doing so and then I lost my place and got annoyed so w/e I’ll just post it here. Here’s a link to the prompt

Shepard was almost intimately aware with just how long Liara had been standing up, working away at her Shadow Broker terminal, fingers flying at a never slowing pace over the haptic interface. It seemed like every time she came in to check on her running-herself-ragged girlfriend that she was too busy, too absorbed, brushing off the Commander with barely a smile before it was back to her work.

From her seat perched at the end of Liara’s bed, Shepard looked up from her data pad, going over her latest report before it was sent off to Alliance Command. Watching her missus working tirelessly she could see how every minute or two the Asari was shifting her weight between her feet, every so often letting out a small sound of what was unmistakeably pain, and Shepard couldn’t find it in herself to let the woman continue torturing herself any longer.

I wear a mask with lips painted the color of deception, and eyes only satisfied by lies for my protection. I wear a mask that broadcast the false permanent sense of content, but don't be fooled cuz I can be fueld by even the smallest flint. I wear a mask that misleads you to believe that my smile is a slightly delayed mirrored image of your smile but if you could get past your huge ego you'd see I was in denial. for when you smile I cry, for every mistake you make you fail to see that i try. try to stand by your side through thick and thin but it always seems to be thick so i never win. but i'll try everyday even if its in vain, even if i'm in pain cuz you'll never feel the same. but i love to see you smile though it brings tears to my eyes and until we're on the same page i'll wear this mask as my disguse By: TAILS STERLING!! How do u even go about getting over someone? I mean i'v tried staying away from them and finding someone new. (eh I don't really wonna be with anyone right now) I feel like I'm over her...
