g.enmui is deadass one of the worst ships I've seen in fanon bc...literally there's no good reason for it. to exist at all like obvs i know ships don't necessarily have to make sense but...there's just nothing...nothing remotely good about it at alllll like
as a ship it just ain't good, not the dynamics (or lack thereof) the fandom sure af isn't good, mismatched aesthetics and absolutely no visual appeal (I mean unless you fetishize the height difference which is...eww), no good or interesting tropes, no writing or development, no groundbreaking or compelling interactions just awful all across the board. the only thing I can say about g.enmui that's positive is that it's not incest or terribly problematic its just unfathomably boring and seems to exist for the sake of them being in a ship.

that’s part of the reason. their “chemistry” doesn’t exist, to the point where shippers have to make up fake information just to sell the pairing. it takes very simple media literacy and a basic understanding of his character to see why genya treated muichiro the way he did during the kokushibo fight (and vice versa). you shippers are unbearable, constantly forcing the ship down everyone’s throat. god forbid you see the fandom ship the characters with anyone else, you lot have to jump the individual. you lot are genuinely insufferable.
i’ve tried to force myself to like the pairing, but i genuinely can’t. ALL the shade, genmui shippers have given me nothing but trouble
