Strangely this song has been comforting me the past few days... 

In my agony and disturbance I have nowhere to go except into your arms. Why is it so hard for me to go back into your arms Lord? Why am I so distracted. Why am I so disturbed and afraid. I want to place my hope in you Lord. At times like this, I am reminded of your words in Psalm 42:11 "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." 

Like this song, I want to leave everything behind and surrender everything to you. And declare that all I am is yours. Take control of my life God. Lead me down your straight path. Shine your light on me. Comfort me, I am so lonely and distraught. I want to leave this darkness. Take control of my heart.
