People always give up after three âŚ
Iâm as unsure as anyone now, but I still think there might be a fourth episode. Nothing else makes sense. So much was utter nonsense.
And this ending kind of âkilled offâ the story. Just like ACDâs The Final Problem did. Only in canon it wasnât the end after all.
Iâm wondering if the first TFP in series 2 dealt with the âSherlockâs deathâ aspect and this TFP deals with âthe death of the storyâ aspect. Thus itâs part of the game that we rage and despair like they did in the original fandom (hopefully not for eleven years tho).
Okay so what Iâm going to do next is:
- forget The Final Problem
- rewatch series 1, 2, 3 and The Lying Detective, reassuring myself how I love Sherlock
- watch some better moments of The Six Thatchers,
- hope series 5 will happen and wil be back to crime solving
- count days till it hapens
Mrs Hudson: Would you like a cup of tea?
Mycroft: Thank you!
Mrs Hudson: The kettle's right over there!
So many words on this earth, But none of them are the right ones to say.
Maybe if I string them together? No wait, theyâre still not good enough.
What if I shout them out? Still nobody will hear me.
How do I get them to listen? How do I get them to understand?
Iâm dying on the inside, But they wouldnât know.
They donât care, So why should I?
I canât find the words, So maybe my problems donât exist.
Just like they said, âNo one cares about your petty little worriesâ.
They must be right, Everything about me now is wrong.
The Porcelain Doll
When I was a little girl, I used to go to my Grandmotherâs house and sit on the living room floor, Staring up at the porcelain doll on the highest shelf, With its long blonde hair, And its sparkly blue eyes.
I used to sit and stare at that porcelain doll, For hours and hours on end, Admiring her innocent beauty, Until one day I noticed a crack in her pretty little face, And that her once blue eyes had begun fading to grey.
As I got older, I stared at the crack in the porcelain doll, It ran from the corner of her eye, Across her cheek and down to her chin. Like a tear, Permanently present on her once pretty, little face, Worn into her skin from years of the same hurt. Her once blue eyes, Shallow and grey from years of disappointment, Stare endlessly back at me now, Screaming for help.
It is only now, Being the age that I am, That I realised that there was never a porcelain doll. But a mirror. Reflecting my life and the constant waves of hurt, Pushing me to the breaking point, Until the hurt cannot be reversed or undone, It can no longer go unnoticed.
Tonight I sat and watched the sky
I watched the stars as they made their way across the sky. Every hope and wish Iâve ever made.
I hope that one is a shooting star. That way, it might come true.
But Iâm not that lucky, you see. Thatâs why I sit and watch. Wishing I could be up there too.
Entrapment
Iâm sick of this feeling. Itâs like my heart keeps skipping beats, faltering, breaking its rhythm.
Iâm lost. Nowhere to go and nowhere to turn to.
Everythingâs a blur now. I canât seem to focus on anyone or anything.
I canât see a way out. What even is the future?
Nature is my only escape.
Self-destruction
My fears are eating away at my soul, gradually eroding the goodness inside, replacing what once was happiness.
I donât know what that is anymore. Happiness. Itâs an alien concept now, one Iâll never know. Not now, not ever.
I thought I had happiness once. But I was wrong. The illusion was there but never the feeling.
What is happiness?
My home
Control is an Illusion.
You think youâve got the hang of this thing called life, donât you?
Wrong.â¨No one ever has a firm grip.
Thatâs why we need another to guide us along the way.
But be careful who you choose.â¨There are many who will hurt you and lead you astray.
Stay in control.
Find the one who guides you from their heart, not from their head.â¨One who is in it for you and not just themselves.
Stay in control.
10 Things that can Wreck your Life
1. Not living in the moment. Always wishing you were somewhere else, doing something different with other people.
2. Blaming your problems on your past. Although the past affects us, it need not define us. We can choose, decide and act â and take control of our lives. Donât let the heartache from the past define who you become.
3. Running away from problems. Itâs crazy just to bury your head in the sand and act like are fine when youâre dealing with a mess. Face reality, take action and work to turn life round.
4. Being ungrateful. Being thankful sets you free in your heart and mind. It inspires all thatâs good - and, also, oils relationships. But an ungrateful person will wear others down. It destroys your spirit, so you feel down and depressed.
5. Being angry and bitter. Refusing to forgive, and bearing grudges against others, will slowly poison your life and your personality. Itâs much better to release them and to focus, instead, on living a happy and fulfilling life.
6. Letting your expectations rule your life. Life rarely goes smoothly and according to plan â and people disappoint us and let us down. Accepting this is normal takes some tension out of life.
7. Disrespecting yourself and others. Every single person deserves respect, and every single person is fighting their own battle. So focus on being kind, understanding and forgiving.
8. Neglecting important relationship. A relationship thatâs built on unconditional love â where a person accepts us for who and what we are
â is truly a gift and is worth fighting for. Donât take it for granted
â recognise that itâs a gift.
9. Loving people who are bad for us. Not every person will build into your life. Be aware of those who whoâll use you, or who want to bring you down, or who want to hurt you, or destroy your confidence.
10. Never taking risks. If you always play it safe, youâll find you end up going nowhere. You must be ready to take risks - or you will miss so much in life.
Love
Love is a confusing game. Ever growing in its complexity. A flicker of a flame, developing into a fire.
âIf you play with fire youâll get burntâ. Thatâs what they say. But what if you help the fire grow?
It keeps you warm, keeps you alive. Rosy cheeks and warm toes.
Thereâs fire in our hearts. Please donât let it go out.
One of the wonderful things about where I work; so many quotes to live by.
I love the sound and smell of the rain.
