I once was at the dentist getting all my molars drilled deep bc of the botched fillings I had and for some reason they didn’t ask what music I wanted to hear before the procedure so they asked my mom, who was my sole companion, and she said “play joy division! she loves it” so insight’s ear piercing synths were playing while I felt the exposed nerves in my molars getting drilled (it was very sweet that she remembered that thing about me though)
