comic i drew last year but i still like it a lot. based on that scene from wfkbj (except the last few moments) which made me go, “this is so ss…” (though to be fair, i say that about a lot of things)

Sometimes, I wish I had Sakura’s Determination.

I mean, she went from this frivolous irritating fangirl who worries nothing but the latest trends and fads into this young woman who protects and nourishes and inspires everyone around her.

Look at her. She was the typical case of the school yard cheerleader girl. She fans over hot guys, she needs to constantly get her hair done and all the superficial stuff. She was smart, yes. But that’s all she was. She was nothing else. She was an empty character.

But the she realizes how much larger the world is.

She realized how weak she was.

She realized how helpless she was.

She realized how insignificant her superficial image was.

She realized how pathetic she was thinking she had it all figured out.

She began to see how everyone else was moving forward except her. She was starting to see, not only Naruto and Sasuke’s backs but also Lee’s, Neji’s, Shikamaru’s, and Ino’s backs.

This is why I simply love the FoD arc.

Its not just because of that epic SS moment, but because it was a turning point for two of the main characters of the series.

Sasuke was exposed to a dark power that introduced him to a strength too tempting to pass. It was at this moment that Sasuke became The Avenger and that he will tap into any power, no matter how dark it may be, to fulfill that role.

Sakura on the other hand, was finally given the slap of reality needed to get her head out of the clouds. It was here that she knew she needed to grow. It was at this moment that Sakura decided to become a protective force that can walk beside the strongest, to fight beside the strongest, to be one of the strongest.

And that she did, my brother. That she did.

And not only was a force to be reckoned with. Oh no. She was a healing beacon too. With the same hands, she creates a devastating force that can disseminate mountains with a single punch AND save the lives of thousands of people without even breaking a sweat.

That little civilian girl, with no background, no kekkei genkai, no shinobi history, came down as one of the most powerful women in the history of the Shinobi world.

And she did all that with a lot of elbow grease, a lot of guts, and a shitload of determination.

No power ups, no chakra fuses, no family secret jutsu, no eye techniques, no tail beasts, no nothing.

Just a pure shot of dauntless determination and conviction.

And despite all the haters, Ill still admire Sakura. Why? Because like me, she came from nothing. Absolutely nothing. She had talent, yes. But talent without hard work is hardly anything at all. It amazes me that this girl was able to achieve so much, conquering feat after feat after feat.

The founders of @multisakumonth present a brand new event - Sakura Month !! This event will be from 1st December until 31st December 2018, a total of 31 days with 31 prompts to celebrate our beloved favorite character - Sakura Haruno!

The main reason why we decided to organize this event is because we are currently several months away from 2019, and why not use this particular month to celebrate something special and create memorable moments. Hence the creation of Sakura Month.

This time we personally selected prompts that are related to Christmas because it’ll take place in December. As always, this event is meant to be a positive one, so users who spread/support/like/reblog any hateful and distasteful messages about Sakura Month or Sakura Haruno will be blocked and exempt from participating.

We accept submissions in any form possible - AMVs, fanfictions, headcanons, edits, gifs, quotes, cosplays, rants, threads, fanarts, and aesthetic posts. You are allowed to submit more than one contribution on that specific day too!
